Character, location, staff friend, nice rooms.

Very small shower, large people would have difficulty.

This hotel is all what to expect in St. Moritz. It has easy access from the highway and is closely located near the rail station with the hotel providing shuttle service. We enjoyed the pre-set dinners and the hotel is reasonable priced.

The hotel is located close to the train station and there is a shuttle service organized by the hotel.It is not far from the city center and the view to the lake is beautiful.

The access to the lake and promenade through the back garden was icy due to the snow and cold and therefore dangerous. You need to consider putting down salt to de-ice the access.

My room had a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains covered by snow at night and early morning.

I wish they provided a ride with the train station. It was snowing when i arrived.

Location: 10/10 - right across the Train Station, with an uphill 5 mins walk away. Reception girl lacked hospitality skills and was as cold as the weather, and this partially dulled our excitement. Not welcoming at all and much gruesome. Because of this, rating of hotel is a 6/10. Was expecting someone more joyful and warm to match the beautiful and exciting location.Room heating system wasn't user-friendly and we found it uncomfortably warm at times.

It is right next to a beautiful lake, it is quiet and peaceful.

There is a road next to the hotel, which albeit not very close is a bit noisy, but mostly because the place is really quiet.

Great view over the lake. Close to train station but since it’s an uphill walk they also offer a shuttle service. Pretty good breakfast spread.

Restaurant staff was unfriendly at first but gradually warmed up. Claimed every table I asked for was reserved (for both breakfast and dinner). When I asked when the reservation was (as I was just going to have a quick supper of soup), they claimed they didn’t know and the party could show up anytime. Sounds like they didn’t want single diners to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake.

The staff was unorganized and burnt out. Except the staff during breakfast. They were delightful.

Amazing property, clean, awesome breakfast, friendly staff, perfect location. I had an amazing time.

The only thing is that the Spa wasn’t working

Wonderful location, right on the lake, very close to the train station for access, and walking around the lake. Also it was easy to access downtown area. Room was small but super comfy. Food and service was excellent in the Restaurant. Highly recommend this place.

Person in front desk was a bit rude when I arrived before check in. I felt lack of customer service skills.

Extremely friendly staff and very accommodating. Had a beer at the bar, for heading into the restaurant for dinner. I saw an interesting bourbon on the shelf and they went out of the way to find the value in price and presented it extremely well. All the room was small, I expected as much and offered a full range of necessities for a single person. While the bed was small, twin size, it was very comfortable. Even the view from the room brought a smile. The shuttle to the train station in the morning was extremely appreciated as it was $20 for a taxi and the train station to the hotel as I arrived after the shuttle hours of operation.

The only thing I didn’t like, was dinner. I had the Cordon Bleu and it just didn’t have a very good flavor. And it was served with way undercooked french fries. The vegetables were excellent. I also talked with a gentleman at the salad bar from the restaurant and he recommended a couple of things there that turned out to be extremely good. Thank you for that. Breakfast was rather lackluster, and had no interaction with any staff at all. However, it was included in the rate and it’s sufficed till I got on the train.

Beautiful location on the lake. Comfortable and quiet room. Excellent breakfast with an amazing view. And close to the train station, just a short walk. The spa area is quite nice too.

There was an issue with hot water the night arrived, but it was fixed by the next morning. Otherwise, everything was very good. I would gladly stay here again.

The view was AMAIZING. They have a cozy bar where you can enjoy a drink and if you are a whiskey lover they have more than 2000 kind and the bartenders are very knowledgeable about it. The view from the main dining room is beautiful you can see the lake and the mountains. Close to the train station and the bus stop within 5 minutes walking. LOVE IT.

The restaurant staff need re-training!

Our reservation for two nights included breakfast. We were told upon check-in that breakfast ended at 11 AM. On our second morning, we got to the dining room at 10:20 AM. Within a few minutes after our arrival, the chafing trays with the hot dishes, along with the toaster, were removed. Staff in the dining room were less than friendly, and made us feel like we were putting them out for asking for anything. I did complain to the front desk as we were checking out, but this is unacceptable to seasoned travelers like my husband and myself.
