- I don't really want to write all the things that I think about this hotel as I am aftraid too many people will want to go there and I want it to keep its special charm. I love everyting about this place from the rooms, to the service, food, managers and staff, the views. It feels like stepping back into the past. It is not the last time we will stay there. Thank you to all the wonderful people who work there.
- The location is fabulous - at the end of Fex Valley, it is very very quiet and beautiful. The hotel is old but well maintained and had a lot of wonderful features. We took horses to arrive to the hotel from Sils-M. It was a lovely 50 min ride which we enjoyed a lot, especially my daughter, who was allowed to steer!The hotel offers a very good dinner and Afternoon Tea included into the HB. The breakfast was also good with a nice choice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We took the shuttle bus back to Sils.
- Overall it was an unique and worthwhile experience. hotel was surrounded by beautiful nature and staff overall were very friendly.

- it was sad that my wife got food poisoning very likely from the cheese cake dessert with the half boarded dinner plan at the Hotel the night before we left. It took a long time ( like 2 hours ) to serve the simple 3 courses meal. There was no other way to dine with there and there was no water boiler or coffee machine at the room. it was probably hard to get some help if there is an emergency in the midnight there. I hope our case just very rare but definitely there are spaces to improve.

One of the best, if not the best place in Switzerland. Superb location, very friendly staff and meals made with a lot of love.Very hard to improve upon.

The main selling point is the location: at the end of the Fex valley. The rooms are not that big, bathrooms are basic (but more than adequate!). The other selling point is that the food and service is very good, really a cut above the rest when compared to simmilar hotels. Can only recommend it.
Very clean, spacious, with nice view of the valley. Had some nice walks further in the valley before dinner.
Swiss dishes often aren't my preference, but I believe the quality is good.
