    • perfact location, great staff, good food ... just great!
    • The view and location if of course amazing, so beautiful and well maintained. The property is very dog friendly
    • Perfect hotel to "get away from it all". Secluded with amazing views and various things to keep you occupied (if you need). The staff were very friendly and helpful right from the moment we entered the Funicular base station. Return fare and breakfast were included in the booking. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and the breakfast offered plenty to choose from.Train station or bus stop is a short walk from the Funicular.

Incredible view. This just can't be beat. And the bottom of the funicular is very conveniently located next to a bus stop and two train stations, and a wonderful trail to Lake Staz.

I really like this hotel & the way you get to it by their own funicular railway! The view was amazing & we got everything we expected, I have been before though, hence why the wives were surprised. The staff and customer service is/are superb and the food is really good. And I was very very pleased they had cider ?!

The price is a tad high for the rooms but it’s your choice whether you pay it, so maybe it’s strange to write that having stayed before. Two improvements that could be made are to defrost the glass screens in the morning, we had breakfast at a window but saw very little due to the frozen glass screens. We also found that in the evening menu there is an option to have Chinoise Fondu, however that has to be booked by 12:00 the day before. We only find that out upon opening the menu at dinner time. That stipulation needs to be highlighted to guests before their arrival if they’re (as I think most are) there for 1 night.

Amazing views, cosy rooms. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant was fantastic, friendly staff,

Beds/pillows were not very firm, no tea/coffee self service available in the rooms.

Amazing location, wonderful food, both in the restaurant and for breakfast, attentive, helpful and friendly staff, stylish well-appointed and comfortable room

    10ScottPosted on: 7-16-2024

    Everything was fantastic

We could not cool the room. Even with the windows open full. We would have liked a small fan to help get cold air in the room.

Didn’t have a chance to stay

Beyond disappointed with the terrible experience at this hotel. Avoid at all costs! No where in the booking did they mention that there is no option at all to leave the property between 11pm - 7.45am. There is no access via car or foot to/from this place, only the funicular. We made a booking at this property due to its proximity to the station for the Glacier Express train. We had to leave this property upon checking in as we were advised there is no possibility to leave the hotel in time to make it to the station in the morning for our planned journey. Never have I ever stayed in a hotel with ZERO access to leave! I hate to think of what would happen in an emergency. The manager was beyond rude and unwilling to try and resolve this issue or come up with a solution. They are also unwilling to refund any part of the $400 paid for this terrible experience. The rooms are also tiny!

Exceptional view on mountain range surrounding St. Moritz; easy access by special tram; very close to nature on 2400 m, good access to a number of walking paths; everything in the hotel was well arranged

Amazing location, lovely staff, great food.

Amazing views and great food. The breakfast was very nice

We stayed here to attend the Engadine ski marathon and the reception offered to collect our skis and put them out in the morning of the marathon. They forgot to put them out, and we nearly missed the race because of this. This was a stressful experience and we wish the hotel would have been more humble about this incident.

Location, access arrangement (via Funicular Railway)Restaurant food & service was excellent

Room a bit smallRoom a but cold (and no heat control)

Location is unbelievable. My vision of Switzerland ?? is been high up in mountain peaks covered in snow looking down on alpine valleys below you in complete silence we'll if this is yours do not hesitate to book 2 or 3 nights here . Probably one of the best located hotels we have ever stayed in on our travels.

    Having to leave

    10PaulPosted on: 2-18-2024

Staff couldn't be any more friendly, nothing too much trouble.Once you get up to the hotel, the scenery is so spectacular Food on the terrace at lunch was lovely and the evening meal was very special.Breakfast buffet superb and little touches on table for one of our party who's birthday it was shows how attentative hotel were

    10MichaelPosted on: 2-8-2024

The location - and travelling on the funicular to get there - was out of this world. The snow and views once there were incredible and the hotel itself and the very friendly staff made the whole visit exceptional. Perfection.

    Nothing it was perfect.

    10ShrutiPosted on: 2-2-2024

The view , the facilities. I went on a hike , sledding, watched the sunset. It was perfect . Breakfast was great.

    10TeaPosted on: 2-1-2024

Everything was faboulous, hotel is well renovated and designed, the views are magical! Also the drive with funicular is a special experience and is included in the price of the stay.

The smell in the rooms is a bit odd, allegedly because of wooden ceilings in the bathrooms, but it isn’t anything drastic
