The views were breathtaking, absolutely enchanting. The attention to detail in decor and furnishings was beautiful and cozy, the little things like fleece blankets on the patio chairs and fresh wild flowers on each table. The customer service was so impressive, we felt the love - it seems that they love what they do and are just sharing their passion and home with us. And now, lets talk food! WOW!!!! Again, the attention to detail was perfection- the carefully selected local and fresh ingredients, homemade goodies (the bitter orange jam was my favorite). We ate breakfast each morning and had one dinner, flavorful delight! And the location- fantastic. Close enough to easily get to all the tourist destinations in the area, but far enough where it was serene and peaceful and felt like a true private get away. I could keep going, gosh - I want to go back one day! They gave us bus passes for Interlaken. Easy parking. Sparkling clean rooms. My expectations were exceeded. It was majestic.

Aside from the fact that this location had BREATHTAKING views, the staff were INCREDIBLE. They were so so sweet and really took an interest to make sure our stay was great. The room was very comfortable and the balcony was the perfect place to end the active days we had while looking at the lake, mountains, and having a glass of wine. We will definitely be back to Switzerland and we will definitely stay here again. This was by far the best hotel stay Ive had in 31 years of living.

I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional hospitality extended by the hotel owners. The culinary experience surpassed my expectations, with both breakfast and dinner offering an array of delicious delights. Additionally, the panoramic view from my room was simply breathtaking, adding to the overall magnificence of my stay.

While my overall experience at the hotel was enjoyable, I believe there is room for improvement in the speed of the WiFi connection.

Everything was perfect

Jacky and Bernard were two of the nicest, sweetest people we met. They were very informative about the area and helped guide us on what highlights to do within the area. The hotel itself was comfortable, clean and there is nothing bad to say about it. The food at the hotel is delicious and chef Bernard goes above and beyond with his dishes. They were very accommodable when it came to having to leave very very early for a flight we had to catch. And the hospitality exceeded above all. We are already wanting to plan our next trip to come back and hope to be back very soon!(:

The location was beautiful! The views from our room glorious! The breakfast the hotel provides was delicious. The hosts were so hospitable! So warm and kind! They provided us with lots of good info about the area and more!

NOTHING! It was an amazing experience

The views from this hotel are absolutely amazing, (Room 17). Situated high on the hillside above Lake Thunersee, Interlaken, you can see for miles over the high peaks of the Alps, including the Eiger. The location is very peaceful and we spent all of our time, when we were in the room, sat on the balcony admiring the view, which changes every 30 minutes. We slept with the curtains open so we could wake up with the sun rising and enjoy the early morning splendour of the Alps.The room itself was large and had a good sized balcony that could easily seat 4, and included a small table and 2 chairs. It was spotlessly clean (including the shower), the beds were very comfortable, and included all the facilities we would normally expect, including tea and coffee making.We ate in the restaurant on both nights and the food was of excellent quality, the best we had in Switzerland, and also reasonably priced. Our hosts Jackie and Bernhard were very friendly and attentive. They both took the time to stop by our dining table to ask if everything was good with the food and our rooms and it was interesting to hear their story of how they ended up running a hotel in Switzerland. We felt very much at home and relaxed in this family run hotel.

The views from the hotel were magnificent! The hosts, Bernard and Jackie, were lovely, friendly and had the best suggestions on things to do during our stay! The dinner was delicious and the breakfasts incredible! We would highly recommend staying here.

No Mini Fridge

Everything was good except the fact that we were offered a room where there is no AC (we managed using a fan) and the washroom was outside the room as well which was a bit uncomfortable situation. The view was stunning and it was very quite. The host was very helpful, waited for us to check in although we got a bit late due to road issues ,assisted us with our luggage.

There is no Air conditioning in the room and washroom/bathroom located outside the room. More light required in the balcony to enjoy the view at night.

Ample options to choose from, the quality of food and service is excellent. You can enjoy a nice view of the lake and mountains from the restaurant.

The staff were super friendly & polite. The view from our balcony was unbelievable. The breakfast buffet had lots of variety & local produce. The evening meal we had in the restaurant was excellent (Thai green curry + Avocado Salad). We were kindly provided takeaway breakfasts on 2 occasions due to us having to be up & out before breakfast service. Overall an amazing place to stay.

The only negative was the pricing for laundry. It would have cost us 135 for a small bag of washing if we had used the service. It wasnt justifiable for what we needed & being a tight fisted Yorkshire woman I chose to use the launderette in town instead for 7.

Beautifully positioned high up in a village that straddles a sunny plateau looking towards the mountains and lake Thun down below. Balconies face these views as does the restaurant serving delicious cakes and meals. A fabulous team who are friendly professional and eager to please. Free parking in front of the hotel. A super place and highly recommend.

Old style, old and small bathroom and no Light isolating curtain. Also a little noise from the top apartment in the night , i was in 14
