Carlton-Europe Vintage Adults Hotel

The hotel was in a great location, just a 5 minute walk to the Interlaken Ost train station and the Harder Kulm funicular, and near tons of restaurants and shops. Breakfast was included in our rate, and was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Our bed was actually 2 separate beds pushed together, and she fell through the gap one night. Also, our shower drain was clogged. It took a few days to get the bed issue resolved, and the drain issue was never fixed.

The ac wasn¿t working. Just the fan part. This was the only thing I felt was wrong with the room . Everything else was a good average room .

The stairs would be hard for an elderly person with luggage . No elevator.

Best part of this hotel is its location, walking distance to train station and its excellent breakfast.

Room was not in good condition, squeaking sound from the floor while walking. Also noticed spider and cockroach in the room.

I must say Fabian made us feel very welcome with every intereaction with him. I also need to thank the gentleman at the front desk who when we told him of our early departure ensured we got our breakfast package. The waiter, who got me lemon as I was having a cold, the waitress who made me chocolate tea, which was very delicious. There was also lady at the front desk who told us about the all year weather in details, great conversation. I was a bit dissappointed with the interaction when we departing, it felt rushed and cold, I did not even recall the front desk person saying, thanks for staying.

The vibe of heritage and feels like in boutique , this vintage atmosphere makes me i don’t want to leave hotel . Really very high quiet and organized , they care with micro details to give an unforgettable vibe and experience. I LOVE IT

Check in start late 4 PM , but reception helped me to enter once availability by 2 PM

Vintage hotel -looking like I enter in museum, every thing was for the hotel but not for the customers, if you are sick and asking for thermometer,answer was go to coop and check , vintage hotel collected all items which you might be thrown some time in your life , but can not having basis first-add tools.In very cold season, breakfast was all cold and test-less. Even if you demand even for egg omelette, they have charged for this .

Pictures of rooms did not match what we got. The pictures show full kitchen but they lock the stove so you can’t cook and they have no microwave no napkins no dish towels and no dish soap. No cream for coffee and Lipton tea was choice of tea in room. Shower curtain was not the best and would prefer real doors instead of blowing shower curtain

The room given had very poor lighting . Our room was right above the restaurant, where the smells of the food wafted towards the room . On given the Interlaken pass, it would have been helpful if there was more information as to what was included and or discounted around InterlakenIt was very disappointing that we weren’t given any information on the Interlaken pass . The reception seemed very disappointed when we would not be able to buy a ticket using the Interlaken pass as we had swiss travel pass .

The location was great and the facilities but not fully enjoyed

The services and there was no air conditions which made the stay not good at all . I left early from hotel.

I used to manage hotels, I’m gonna provide a legit review here. This place 10/10. Everything felt super clean. No kids? Amazing!! No noise, dining room was spotless. The team at the reception was super friendly! They gave us a gift on check out. Room was gorgeous. The location of the hotel - 10/10 you are less then 5 min from the train station, just hop and go to travel this beautiful country. 100% recommend. Breakfast was delicious. Lots of choices.

If I knew in advance no ac I would probably wouldn’t book it. But, sleep with the doors open. You should be fine. I would recommend to add more fans in the room on the summer season.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great -- across the street from a park, the river, and the funicular, and close to the Ost train station. The breakfast was good and our room was comfortable. It's away from the heart of the town so was very quiet.

Large spacious room, very convenient location near train station, nice view of mountains, cute European style decor

No AC. There was a portable fan but we didn’t see it until the second night so the first night was miserable. We also checked into room with an open window and later that night found a spider on the bed. Most windows don’t have screens in Switzerland so I’m sure that’s common in the mountain regions.

Location: very close to the train station and the city center. The room is clean and roomy. Breakfast is good. The staff (such as Mike) is very friendly.

Nice breakfast; add two or three more varieties; pillows are far too soft. Replace them.
