The staff! They were caring, friendly, helpful, and generous. The owner is a 1-star chef and its his family business. The restaurant is amazing as well as the location just out of Interlaken traffic but near enough to walk into town.

Sharing the bathroom was a bit hard waiting on one other room. Also my husband hit his head on an old overhead beam in the top floor room a few times, ran his knee into the corner of the bed, and I stubbed my toe on a raised door threshold; small things!

I like the plce its too clean at ambience at vibes it nice too..except the stairs its too noisy./

A nice breakfast was included each day. Bed was comfortable. It was a charming hotel for those staying in the main building. Guests are given a welcome card which enables free transportation around Wilderswil and to Interlaken.

Our stay was disappointing. First, our room was not in the main building, rather in a hostel annex. Our room was small, on the 2nd floor with very steep, tight stairs. It was hot, and a fan was not available (if it had been, they would have charged 10 francs per day). We did not feel welcome to sit on the terrace under the trees for a drink in the evening. We felt it was over-priced for a hostel-type room with a shared bath, a detail we had overlooked in the description.

The breakfast was good, and the location was near the train station, parking was available for vehicles at no extra charge, and the restaurant is very good.

I went during the summer, and the room was hot during the day; late at night was fine...and there is no fan or refrigerator in the room. I guess in the winter will be fine.

The breakfast here is nice and tasty. Although the shower system on my floor went wrong on my floor in the first night, the owner deal with it quickly next day. I'm willing to come here for another day in Switzerland.

It takes 10 minutes walk from the Wildersswil station to the hotel if we fail to catch the bus and not willing to wait in cold wind for another half hour. What's more, the bar providing hot water is too dark in the evening and the switch buttons are hard to find.

Kitchen staff very welcoming .. nice location..

Corridor is pitch dark.. corridor light recommended( sensor or otherwise). Bathroom not heated. No wash basin in top floor bathroom. The Staff who checked us in could improve her people skills but the others in reception were very warm and extremely welcoming.

The chalet is clean and warm. The bathroom also clean. Comfort bed to sleep.The services is excellent. The woman in reception desk is really nice and helpful. staff in restaurant also so nice and friendly. They know how to treat the guests well :)Hotel gave us free pass for train and bus around interlaken. We can store our luggage for a while after check out:)

This hotel located around 700 m from Wilderswill train station. It is easy to find but You need to walk a little up to find the hotel. If you have heavy luggages you can take bus no 105 which will stop near the hotel.It is difficult to find the chalet at first. It is located behind the hotel. We arrived at midnight and need to find the entrance door for a momen. The hotel has give a information letter and also map of the chalet but we were too tired to pay attention about it after a long journey (and it was dark also)

Breakfast was very good .

The pillows were far too soft and the bed too hard .

I really like the location and the place; the bed super confortable; the breakfast delicious, and the staff super friendly they even let me a letter with chocolates. I really Recomend this place

Excellent Location - despite the 10 minutes walk

The noise from car traffic outside our room window is sometimes quite loud.

Knowing that we would like to have private restroom facilities to share only with our group, they made it happen. The apartment we stayed in was 400 years old and we had plenty of room for the 4 of us. Breakfast was amazing! Every member of the staff was wonderful and went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. Thank you again!

It was hard to know where to go when we arrived. Google had a struggle, or we had a struggle with google!

I recently stayed at this charming hotel/hostel and had a wonderful experience. The location is absolutely stunning, offering a peaceful and beautiful setting. There was a great variety of delicious options, which really set the tone for a good day ahead. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. We arrived early, and they kindly offered luggage storage, which was a big help.As a special touch, since it was my wife's birthday, the host took the time to ask if we had any special requests. They even left a thoughtful birthday card on our door in the morning, which really added to the personal and memorable experience.Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a beautiful location, cozy accommodations, and warm, attentive hospitality.

Since the property is wooden hence one can hear people walking around in the house.

Creaks when you walk and thin walls and neighbour knocked on our door to tell us they can hear us so we had to whisper and walk very slowly

obsolete equipment and very disqusting bathroom (smell, rodent or insect trap, moldy ceiling, rust,... ), stove but no equipment anywhere in the kitchen and instructions not to use it. we got the WIFI password but there is no signal so it was useless. pictures on booking are likely from the hotel and not from room 50(I guess) opposite to the hotel.

The location is good. People of reception were very nice with us, making a late checking, explaining us how to get the best tourist point around the zone… and also de breakfast is fantastic. Good staff and lovely chalet
