The view and access from the hotel were great, and our room was clean and accommodated us perfectly.

Our stay at the hotel was truly unforgettable, and we are deeply grateful for the warm hospitality. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so special by providing a free room upgrade as a honeymoon gift — such a thoughtful gesture that made our trip even more memorable.Every morning, they ensured that our breakfast was ready early, and even on our last day, they went out of their way to prepare it ahead of time so we could catch our bus. The food was always more than enough and prepared with such care — we truly appreciated how they checked in to see if we wanted more.We also loved how they spoiled us by letting us taste different local Swiss cheeses each morning — it was a delightful experience that made our breakfasts even more enjoyable.The breathtaking view of Lake Thun from the hotel was the perfect backdrop to our stay, and the convenience of having a bus stop right beside the hotel made getting around so easy. The hotel is very beautiful and feels homey. The location is very ideal since it gives it a sense of tranquility and serenity. You feel you are in commune with nature since you have the view of Lake Thun and the mountain ranges. It is only a 10-15 min bus ride from the train station (Interlaken OST) and you will enjoy it given the scenic view of the lake, trees and the mountain ranges. There is a view of Lake Thun from the room. Thank for providing us with a comfortable and and clean accommodation by ensuring we have fresh towels and by cleaning the room everyday. Thank you for making our honeymoon stay so warm, comfortable, and memorable We will definitely recommend your place to anyone visiting the area and hope to return soon!

Nice view, quiet place in front of the lake

The host's attitude wasn't the best, from the moment we greeted them until we left. It seemed like she didn't like her job and was tired of tourists. We didn't want to ask her anything because she always had a very bad attitude. The bed was a bit dangerous because there was some kind of nightstand at the head of the bed. In fact, I hit my head one night. The place was very nice, but it doesn't make us want to return.

The staff was so rude. Breakfast options were non-existent for vegetarians. Bathroom was filthy with spider webs and bugs.

The view is ok. Everything else is not.

An old lady with an attitude and racism towards non Europeans should not work in the tourism sector nor opening a place for rental to public. Everything can be tolerated except racism and harsh attitude with rentals. The floor is very noisy and at least 2 spiders I have seen hanging on the ceiling. The beds are not comfortable. There is no elevator in the hotel. Also the breakfast is preselected so you cannot choose what to get for breakfast.

Views are perfect if your window faces the lake. I could not expect more. Roomd clean and spacious enough. Breakfast is simple but fresh. Parking included.

Pillows are too soft. Almost flat. For our family it was not comfortable.

The couple managing the hotel were very nice! I loved the view from our room. The breakfast in the morning was delicious! The beds were comfortable. My friend and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony.

The rooms were clean and the view was nice. The breakfast was definitely adequate. The host gave good recommendations of things to do and how to get to the lake.

Noise carried though the rooms quite easily so when fellow guests were talking and laughing in their rooms, it was quite noticeable. Once the guests quieted down, all was better.

Breakfast was okay, nothing special. We had to ask for more coffee and then only a small amount was provided. The owner was brusque and unfriendly.

We had a lovely, peaceful stay! The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and responsive. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves since it was quiet and not crowded at all. The views from our room were stunning — overlooking the lake and surrounded by lush greenery, it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind.One of the best parts was the amazing breakfast the host prepared for us the morning after we arrived. It was a full spread with croissants, meats, cheeses, yogurt, coffee, juice, fruit — everything we could’ve wanted and more. She also kindly stored our luggage for us after checkout, which was so helpful.The village was charming and calm, and the environment overall felt very chill and homey. A perfect escape from the more touristy spots — we truly enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay overall — the host was lovely, breakfast was incredible, and the setting was peaceful with beautiful views. That said, the house did feel quite old and the linens could use an update to match the otherwise cozy atmosphere. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable either, so a little refresh would go a long way in making the experience even better.

The old couple who runs the place is very friendly. The hotel is situated right in front of the bus stop and the beaut caves is in walking distance. Room had really nice lake views and a lovely back garden.

The room was small and (since it is an old property) had basic facilities. The breakfast was very simple and not much choice but can't complain.

The location and environment was very good. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Free car park in front of the hotel was a plus. Free bus pass provided by the hotel. Hotel has a beautiful lake view. Comfortable beds. Big and quite room. Big toilet.Check in was easy and the lady owner / manager was very kind and helpful. Daily room service and towel change.Room heating was quite efficient.

Bed sheets were not changed when we checked in and it was full of human hair. Very basic facilities.

I really like the room because we have a room with a garten and mountain ⛰️ view, as I booked. The room was clean. The location was good. Beatus Cave is only 5 minutes away. It's a really nice place to visit.

The breakfast quantity, it was not enough. I stayed there with my husband and my daughter. She provided only 3 half eggs not full. You can see in the picture what she provided.Further shower gel just 2 pouches. You must take your own shower gel and shampoos. There is no hair dryer in the room. You have to ask at the reception then you will get it.I stayed there 4 night ,in between they had not changed even bed sheets and blankets covers.
