The location is excellent, only 3-minutes walk from the train station. Breakfast variety is rich and it taste great as well

The charging plug in room is absolutely annoying. It faces downward so I can hardly fix my plug adapter (it will fall down). The plug may be useful for someone who use Swiss standard phone chargers. But for foreigners like me who need to use plug adapter, it’s completely useless and I can’t charge my phone. Besides, the WiFi signal in rooms is very bad. I can’t use WiFi at all.

Breakfast is great. But the dorm I stayed is mixed dorm which could be better if there's choice for non-mixed gender dorm. The bathroom is decent. Many people is staying there for good location and for tourism.

Mixed dorm and too crowded

Extremely clean rooms and very well set up with lockers, sink. Showers and bathrooms were plenty right outside the room and super clean at all times. Breakfast was included and also excellent having everything available. Excellent location - close to the train station, Harder Kulm, supermarket, downtown Interlaken, but still quiet.

I loved the pasta buffet served as part of dinner. The location was just a couple of minutes from the train station. The Co-op was also close.

The room is clean and nice. It’s got the sink in the room. Bed is comfortable as well.

Everything’s great expect one thing. When checking in my nationality is mentioned as “Taiwan (province of China)”, I take my nationality as “Taiwan” which provided from the system is not the value I stand for. Please kindly changed it.My roommates are nice, however the political issues between Taiwan and China gets more complicated recently. Hence I would personally recommend not to put people from these two countries in the same room.

The place is very convenient for travelers who would like to go to Jungfraujoch. The staff is very flexible for check-in since we arrived passed midnight. The room is clean and the place is extremely quiet. Buffet breakfast is good with varieties, its worth the amt we paid for. We will definitely come back for our summer trip.

The location is perfect. The room is big and cozy, and they even provide a really nice breakfast. I’ll definitely recommend this place to any friends who will visit here.

As a returning guest for the 3rd time, This hostel never disappoints. It has maintained its glory all these years as if my stays were always the first time. Many thanks to Barbara who treated and welcomed me well.

Clean spacious rooms though shared. Each shower was a separate room which I really appreciated. Very clean too. A great lobby to hangout or meet up with people. Breakfast was nice as well.

Perfect location for travel by trian and bus in Interlaken. Comfortable room and locker.

The common space not enough for guest. Some groups of guest take a long time to use common room and made some noise. The other guest can't access to use the microwave and water pot. Should have the rule for use the space.

there’s no toiletries like basic shampoo and body wash. the electricity plug near the bed didn’t seem to work because of the placement

Central location near the train station and grocery stores. A 15 minutes canal side walk to the main historic part of town

Staff was devoid of personality much less friendliness or helpfulness. The person who checked me in couldn’t be bothered to provide basic instructions for where I’d park much less anything else helpful such as scan this code for the travel pass (note these should be sent in advance) I stayed in September when it would be cool at night. These rooms have NO ventilation whatsoever and no thermal shades to keep the sun out during the day or notes advising others to keep the shutters closed when the sun is shining in the room. It was 28 in the room consistently even at night. No fans. No mini fridge at all which is a departure from the other Swiss hostels. Even the dining staff was very rude. WiFi doesn’t work well in the rooms. Very few common rooms as they rent out the spaces for meetings. You can’t sit in the lobby and eat due to the restaurant or on the patio. You can’t sit in the kids area even if there are no kids because they’ll kick you out. No sense of hostel whatsoever here. All in all, if it’s late September to April you’d be okay here for a night or two max. Don’t expect to meet anyone or be given any information Lack of hooks in the rooms meant towels and other things draped over any corner making it a mess

Very close to Interlaken Ost station — it’s right next to the station as you exit. Lockers are included and can be accessed with the room key card, which is convenient. The breakfast was very good

Nothing really

The hostel is only a few minutes away from Interlaken OST which is very convenient for travellers, and not very far from the center! I love that every floor is complete with showers and comfort rooms and yes, the food and restaurant at the ground floor!

The internet is unfortunately unreliable on the 2nd floor, hope they find a fix for this, at this time and age, it should not be a big deal to resolve this.
