Beautiful hotel, welcoming, helpful and professional staff, amazing breakfast. Would stay again!

staff very friendly. We had an early train one day of our stay. They fixed for us sandwiches and left them in the fridge for us to pick up early in the morning. Location is a bit out of the beaten path, overlooking a river.

A bit difficult to find the place. Parking (we were shoulder season) can be a challenge.

Very well located.Close to the train station. Good restaurants nearby.Very good morning breakfast with plenty of choice to eat and drink.Parking available which is sometimes rare.Rooms with a balcony are great for the endof the afternoon drink.

Being close to the Church,you can sometimes hear the bells sounding the time of day during the night.

Our expectations were met as far as overall accommodations. This is a great value for this region. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Location is convenient and quiet.

The breakfast was average and the wifi was slow, but again, this is a good hotel is a good value.

The property is beautiful, right by a church, the last street in that part of town. The rooms/bathroom are super clean, beds are soft, the breakfast in the morning is very delicious and there are several items; now the coffee machine they have is PHENOMENAL! The gentleman that managed was incredibly nice, respectful, caring, everything was very pleasant. They respond very quick to any inquiry via Bookings message. There is a natural fountain of drinkable water steps away from the hotel. If it’s your first time in this area STAY HERE! It’s close to everything. Wilderswill train station is right there 8 mins to Interlaken Ost, 8 mins in the other direction to Lauterbrunnen, 20 mins to Grindewald if you plan on going to Jungfraujoch. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION, bus 105 gets you to Interlaken West in 8 mins too and the hotel gives you a city pass during your stay which you can use for trains and bus. We were so blessed to have experienced Interlaken region and having stayed here, everything was superb.

Everything good including room , bathroom breakfast. I wish the bed was little less soft, although I understand that it depends on individual choice.i wish for breakfast some things were hot. You have to walk a little on the rough and Tough path for luggage. But that is picture perfect. The river in front of the hotel is lovely.

Broken electric kettle and the tray. Problem of bathroom water leakage out of the compartment. Probably they have to put the sealant again at several places from where water was leaking when taking bath.

Very well located, easy to find and offered parking lots. Also near to the train station and some other services.

It feels a bit old and sometimes you can feel very cold because they turn off the heat.

Enjoyed everything about the hotel. Good location. Good breakfast. Easy access to the valley and all the activities.

Would be nice to have a place to gather as there were four of us traveling together. Otherwise all was wonderful. Thank you!

Breakfast was really good and very satisfying. Our room was clean, and it was already tidied up when we returned in the evening. The location is great - just a short walk from the station - and the views you get while walking around during the day are amazing!

Lights are too dim along the way home after dark but nevertheless safe

It’s a 5–10 minute drive from Interlaken.Check-in was quick — the counter had already prepared the key at reception with my name on it, so I could just pick it up and go.The room had a kettle.

The breakfast had no hot food — not even basic scrambled eggs. It was all cold cheese and ham. A disappointing breakfast; I’d say it’s only suitable for European tastes.Parking is just on the street, and it’s not free. You also need to register in advance, otheriwise have to pay double

The location across the river is romantic from outside. Also crossing the wooden bridge along side local church and quiet neighborhood was a plus. Wilderswil is a small charming town with mountains, churches and a river. The hotel is historic building. The breakfast was nice.

Unfortunately our room had no view because of attic location and dormer windows. We wish we had better room. As seniors we expected our room at lower floor, an elevator or help to carry bags upstairs. The attendant gave the keys and left in hurry. The room had a low cathedral ceiling and a beam over bed where one can hit the head if not careful. We tried to change the room but that wasn't possible.

Great breakfast....nice location across a covered bridge over a small river.

The church next door had the bells going off night and day.....difficult to sleep first nights

It was very nice. Tremendous view. Rustic setting. River running right in front of hotel.

Breakfast was good and convenient since there were not too many other breakfast options in the Wilderswil area. Location was convenient from the train station yet felt private and away from the busy area. Having the river run right next to the hotel and hearing the water through our open window was wonderful. The bedding was very comfortable; I especially liked the pillows which were a memory foam type.

The facility is obviously old (historic) so some of the amenities were a bit dated. The bathroom was quite small and the exhaust fan was quite noisy when running. Electrical outlets in the room were limited, and the only option for keeping refrigerated items was in a communal fridge in the hallway which felt a bit like a youth hostel.

The dog fee is enormous, 25 euros/night for basically nothing. Also, they have a "rule" that you are not allowed to take a dog into bed. Like, what are you paying for 25 euros per night then?

The location is perfect, very close to the train station, right on the river, quiet area, walking distance to resturants, and grocery stores.Breakfast was the normal European style breakfast which we love. Very good!They had a common refrigirator if you needed to leave some snacke or drinks in to keep coolIt is a good value!

There is not anyone around to really talk to about the local attractions. There is no lift just stairs. If you come late for check in you will need to ring the bell and get let in and they will leave the key on the counter for you. So there is not someone there 24/7.None of this was an issue for us, but I could see it being a problem for some others expecting more.
