Interlaken is beautiful, and the roads to get there were like driving in a postcard

I did'nt pay attention to the fact that it had no elevator, and SHARED bathroom!!! It was more of a youth hostel than a hotel, but the price was of a four stars!

Breakfast was great, staff were all great and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The facilities are fairly simple and on the older side but for what we paid it was a great value. Easy walk to Interlaken West train station or East by bus (very easy) for the trains to Grindelwald etc. Would be nice to have a smart tv in the room. Again the hotel itself is a bit dated the staff really make up for it and work hard to give you a great stay. For us they helped in the pre-booking process when Booking.com dropped the ball and messed up our reservation, let us drop our bags early on check in day, brought them to the room for us, helped with opening wine bottles we bought outside, let us bring snacks and enjoy in the lobby, provided afternoon coffee/snacks complementary which is great, and overall they are helpful at every turn. Thanks again to the team can’t say enough - owners please give the team some acknowledgment if you haven’t already.

TV is dated but that’s my only complaint

The hotel had a pleasant atmosphere with warm, helpful staff. Breakfast was good, and the location was very convenient, just a short walk from the train station.

The rooms were small with shared bathrooms, and the walls were thin, so noise from neighboring rooms carried easily, making it difficult to rest.

We had the budget room and our room was next to the bathroom. All night we heard the door slamming of people going to the bathroom.

The hotel was very clean and basic. Cute typical Swiss exterior. Staff were pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. We had an amazing view from our 3rd floor room. The shared bathrooms were very clean. Though the shower/bathroom was 2 floors down, there was a shared WC on our floor and a sink in our room. Although breakfast was included, we weren't able to enjoy it as we left before the dining room opened.

Our room was a little too warm, although the small fan provided did help. There was no screen on the window, and our room faced the street, so we didn't leave it open long.

The WiFi worked well! The breakfast in the morning was delicious. The location was very convenient for exploring Interlaken and getting to the train station. I would stay here again!

I was met by very nice lady at reception, who was very kind to answer every of my question, and only later I realized that she was the owner (photo in the lift). Moreover, everything was super clean and breakfast was very good, and the serving was very unusual.

I would prefer to have shower in my room, but even though it didn’t affect my mood and trip.

5 minutes walk to train/busstation. 2 minutes walk to nearest supermarket. 1st time I booked shared bathroom. The room and bathroom always clean. Good mattress.

It is a bit noisy. I put plugs in my ears so that did not bother me much when going to bed

Close proximity to Interlaken West train station.The breakfast is excellent and is a very welcome start to the day.

Shared bathroom on different level of the hotel but knew that when booking. To be fair wasn’t that bad as never had a time when couldn’t use.

John was rude didn’t even speak to me and my friend after the interaction we had when showing up due to the false information from daisy, and daisy lied to me and gave false information even though she wrote me a email confirmation about accommodation and I called and had verbal confirmation and I ended up not getting my accommodation as stated and stayed in the lounge area all night awake

We liked the friendliness off the staff. The breakfast was amazing, you were spoiled for Choices. An amazing view from our window towards the jong frau.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. Keep up the good work. Ecxeptional good staff.

This hotel is a hidden gem. 7-8 min walk from West station. The look, feel of the hotel, the front courtyard, breakfast place etc was amazing. The room, bed is fantastic. The staff were very friendly spoke very good, handled our luggage placed in storage area into our room (by the time we we came back late in the night). our entire 2 days experience was nothing short of wow! The breakfast was amazing with good coffee. Food was good too (tasty)The front desk people were nice to talk to and made us feel good as if we were their home guest.The shower and washroom is out of room, but its always available, very neat and clean. The entire hotel is absolutely clean. Anyone going to interlaken should stay in this gem of a place which is very well worth the money
