The location is good not too far from the train station

I know the hotel is century old lol but they need to atleast install a lift. It was so hard to carry the luggage all the way to third floor ?

The views from the room was unreal, Breakfast was amazing. The rooms were clean and were tidied up when we arrived from our daily trips.

The train station was a 10min walk but it is in a beautiful village so it was not that much of a problem.

Breakfast was excellent, the taste and diversity were great. Glad it was included! Location of bus station was pretty close. Only problem we had in the 1st day when we were walking from train station to hotel with our luggage. For some reason we were not informed about the bus that we should take from train. Was not easy to Walt uphill with baggage. Another good thing - in advance inform staff about problem with husband’s knee and asked about possibility to reserve a room on the 1st floor. Request was satisfied and we were happy with this. Everyone were very friendly!

No fridge in the room. Initially Was not clearly informed how to get to hotel using the bus from station.

The breakfast spread was good, more of hot food as compared to frozen items. The wooden rooms was warm and comfortable.

There needs to be at least a luggage elevator. We had to carry our luggage up 2 and a half floors.

The breakfast was great and we liked the atmosphere in the restaurant.

The room was rather shabby, especially the bathroom where the decor was antiquated (not in a good way) and there were patches of rot at the base of the bath.

This hotel packs in a lot of history. It has been at this location for about 300 years! Check out the old photo in the restaurant. The exterior is well maintained. Room was adequate and clean. They provided a fan in the room. Breakfast was great, lots of selections and the fresh butter was cherry on the top!

Hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the train station. If you are walking with luggage it might not be easy. Take the bus instead! There was a fly in the breakfast area.
