The hosts are the sweetest couple who have a fund of knowledge about the area and Switzerland in general. Breakfast is phenomenal and the location is beautiful. Hotel employee is very interactive and has you try traditional Swiss dishes and treats every morning

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make it a very pleasant stay. The views from the Hotel are stunning.

We stayed four nights at Hotel Fassbind Beausite in September and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Dani and Linda are exceptional hosts who made us feel like family thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely warm. Breakfast each morning was excellent, and their kindness really shone when Linda lent my wife her jacket for our day at the “Top of Europe.”Our room was spotless, comfortable, and full of vintage Swiss charm that suited the cool mountain weather perfectly. Little touches and sincere hospitality made all the difference; we felt cared for every moment of our stay. After traveling across Europe, this was easily the best place we stayed. We’d return in a heartbeat and recommend it wholeheartedly.

Hotel Fassbind is someplace I would stay again even though Waldegg (the neighborhood) did not have any restaurants and Fassbind kitchen was open partially, though breakfast was exceptional each morning. My si gle room was small, but the balcony was terrific and I’d do it again. Linda and Dani were just great. Scenery is gorgeous and the location offers real views. Lovely!!

Dani and Linda make this a special place. This is our second time at their place and they are warm and welcoming. The breakfast is fantastic. The location is beautiful and convenient to go to many places around Interlaken. The views from our balcony were tremendous. It's like waking up in a postcard.

There was a distinct pet odor in the reception area; as someone who isn’t very accustomed to animals, I found it a little overwhelming!

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming little hotel! The view from our room’s balcony was mind-blowing! Also, Dani and Linda truly made it special — a lovely couple who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. From the warm welcome to the thoughtful touches throughout our stay, their hospitality was exceptional. You can tell they put their hearts into everything they do, and it really shows in how cozy, clean, and well-run the place.

Dani and Lynda were very hospitable hosts and made us feel very welcome. Their dogs Heidi and Clara are adorable and love getting cuddles. Views are great and we enjoyed the cheese fondue on our first night. The rooms were clean and well furnished. Close proximity to the Jung Frau region as well as good restaurants.

I found the shower difficult to manage but probably just me. Really nothing else I could fault.

The location of the hotel perched on the side of the mountain was excellent!Dani Fassbind welcomed us personally in the most warm and gracious fashion with Heidi looking on. Just wish we had more time there!

Great hosts, beautiful location, very cozy wooden rooms. Breakfast is great with magnificent views. Dani is a super welcoming host, as is Heidi - the Bernese that comes to hang out at breakfast and give you high fives for treats.

Pricey but as is everything in Switzerland. Also no A/C in the room, which is also common for the area.

The host is so friendly . The condition of this place is good and clean. Nice view and quiet place whichvis good for couple and family trip.

No dinner during low season .

The location is absolutely amazing, overlooking the lake and the mountains behind it, its breathtaking. The hosts were very kind and attentive. The hotel is very old and authentic, however the amenities (like bed mattress and bathroom) are all fully updated and are completely sufficient for a pleasant stay. The hotel owners have a dog and two cats that you can pet which we absolutely loved, but this might not be for everyone. The breakfast was all locally sourced - the owners take great pride in the food.

Dani and Linda were absolutely fantastic hosts! They truly made my experience so memorable. The breakfast was great and the views were even greater! This kind of hospitality is so rare nowadays, I highly recommend this accommodation!

I recently had an unforgettable stay at this hotel, and I can confidently say it's the best place I've experienced in Switzerland. From the moment I arrived, the managers, Dany and Linda, offered the warmest welcome I've ever received, making me feel like part of the family rather than just a guest.The hotel exudes a cozy atmosphere, filled with delightful aromas that enhance the overall experience. Its location is simply stunning, perched above the clouds and just a 15-minute bus ride to Interlaken West Station. On clear days, the views of Lake Thun are breathtaking, and the sunsets are nothing short of magical. At night, the starry sky is extraordinary due to the minimal light pollution—truly a sight to behold.Breakfast was another highlight, featuring a variety of delicious options, including plenty of vegetarian choices. I can’t recommend this hotel enough; it’s the perfect blend of comfort, stunning scenery, and warm hospitality. I can’t wait to return in the spring to swim in the beautiful lakes of Thun and Brienz. A huge thank you to Dany and Linda for making my stay so special!

Dani and Linda were incredible hosts. They were there for our every need, cooked an excellent breakfast every morning, and provided amazing recommendations for places we should visit. We will absolutely be recommending their place for anyone who is looking to travel to Switzerland.
