Pros +
- The old fashioned facility, the wonderful, comfortable bed.
- The room was clean, towels replaced daily, and the staff was very friendly. Upon arrival I was greeted by a staff member at the back entrance with my key. My room was up 3 flights of stairs, and the rest of the rooms are up a total of 5 flights (there is no elevator). I was lucky to have the largest of the 8 rooms on site (I believe), and since was staying for 7 nights it was greatly appreciated. My room had a nice size, basic bathroom with plenty of space for my toiletries, a heated towel rack, and a fine sized shower. There were small bottles of shampoo and body wash provided. No hairdryer is provided in the room, but there are a couple available in the window of the stairwell, along with some basic toiletries (toothbrush, comb etc). I had a large shoe and coat rack, a desk with a television, a wardrobe, and a rack for hanging clothing (3 hangers were provided). The bed was firm but comfortable, and I was provided with one pillow and one duvet. Two side tables with drawers and easily accessible outlets were on either side of the bed. The lighting in the room was great, 2 overhead lamps with nice soft lighting, and 2 side table lamps with the same soft light bulbs. There were 3 large windows with nice, dark curtains that overlooked the road coming into the traffic circle, but I found the noise to be minimal. The location was perfect. Just a short walk across a beautiful wooden bridge to access a path along the river, or up to the main street. A five minute walk up to the train or bus. I enjoyed a glass of wine in the restaurant but did not have a meal there.
- Hotel Mamma was a cozy little hotel in the heart of Bremgarten - it had two comfy beds in our room, and a very clean and functional washroom. The staff were very friendly.
Cons -
- You had to climb many stairs.
- There were no washcloths provided, so this would be a nice addition to the towel service. Just a note if you arrive on a Monday or Tuesday that the restaurant is closed so you'll need a code for the key lockbox to access the hotel. I arrived on a Wednesday so my key was handed to me. My mom checked in on a Monday and there was a note that she should have received the lockbox code but she never did. Luckily, I was able to ask for the code on her behalf on the Sunday before she arrived.
- The room was stuffy, and we had to leave the window open. However, Bremgarten's church clock bell goes off every 15 minutes - including through the night. I'm sure locals are used to it, but we had a very hard time sleeping due to the bell.

Only location
Very old facility. The bed mattress felt very old. I was laying in a big hole.
Very clean and nice stuff and next to the little town and the water view . Very satisfying.
AC could have been better but had a little fan .
Close to anything
In this summer it's very hot. we were at the attic & there it was pretty hot. We had a ventilator, but pretty small.
No breakfast, but Nespresso coffee machine in the room. Location perfect to walk into the old town.
Breakfast.
Clean, location, friendliness
very friendly staff
the room smelt unfortunately from cigarettes despite of the bedding beeing very clean...
Great walk into near old town after bussines trip. Communicative and proactive service willing to prepare invoice in corporate special form. Bed soft just enough with a warm duvet (my favorite)
Parking lot a little bit tighter (nothing to live with but can be limiting for somebody). A nearby river weir is noisy, especially in summer and open window should be unpleasantly (good to mention, personaly for me it is not limiting, because it looks like as a white noise for better sleeping, but for requirements of this questionary I want to write it to here and you can move it into positive box depend to your preferences)
Very spacious and comfortable, very pleasant staff at the front desk
Mornings roommaid disturbance
Good location, close to the 'covered bridge', but quiet. The staff were helpful, although they seemed a little surprised when we arrived with our bicycles - these were accommodated at the rear of the hotel, secured to railings. Although it has a restaurant, there is also a good one almost opposite the hotel.
2 minutes by foot to beautiful Bremgarten city, wifi and tv worked perfectly, beautiful breakfast places available close to the hotel, friendly staff, clean room
good restaurant
rooms very low spec, but clean.
below average hotel
First of all, the hotel was closed, no one to greet us or give us the key, they just gave us a code for a box that had the keys (there were 2 keys so we had to search for the room ourselves). The hotel is NOT only a hotel but an apartment building (there are people living on the first and second floor), rooms of the hotel only on third floor without elevator. They weren’t sure if we were there so our room didn’t get cleaned up until the third day. Room was pretty small for two people. we could’ve gone without paying, no one was there to collect the keys and we had to go to pay to the restaurant in front of the property. we talked about our discomfort with them and they just “weren’t aware”, zero accountability, no one responsible for the hotel apparently. Not recommended.
Wonderful location and fair price
Rooms too hot with the tropical outside temperatures and no airo. No breakfast served on Mon and Tue, found this only after booking confirmation.
Location, size of the room
No staff, check in instructions not sent had to call the emergency number
Emplacement
Nobody i here to greet you. no information displayed. The wifi doen't work. there is no breakfast
location
no direct hotel staff for support. Needed to ask help from the waitresses in the mosquito restaurant opposite the hotel whom originally handed me the key for the apartment. Room is not cleaned on a daily basis.
Front staff gave better room so I have enjoyed good time. Room was big enough and the location, parking space are also good.
WiFi access had been a little bit strange due to using QR Code since I cannot use my laptop to get QR Code, so,..
