Nice old style hotel with vintage Spa area

In the end overpriced . during workdays you will be forced into an overpriced menue . From my understanding the facility doesn’t fit for hikers

Good location if you’re hiking the Westweg.

The staff wasn’t particularly friendly. They didn’t have any options for vegans (neither in the restaurant in the evening, not even margarine for breakfast). Considering the price for the room, I would’ve expected to be treated friendlier.

Comfortable, spotlessly clean, friendly, traditional hotel in the most incredible stunningly beautiful countryside. The food is also really good.

It’s hard to say but one small thing was the sauna wasn’t switched on when we wanted to use it.

Family run hotel with charming staff whose English was much better than my German. As a solo traveller I felt welcomed. 1,000 metes above sea level with magnificent views of the Black Forest (southern end) and footpaths lead out from the hotel.Dinner was top quality and the style of cooking was creative and healthy. Coffee at breakfast was the best I've ever had. Nice dining table and bed linen.

Route from lower-level elevator to the spa was confusing. Needs better signage in my view.

Great location on top of a Schwarzwald hill with a superb view into a beatiful valley. High class meals/menue in the evenings and a super welcoming service. The spa area is bigger than expected, with a small indoor swimming pool and a lovely sauna area with tea and snacks.

The hotel itself and the interior is partially a bit old fashioned, you may love it or you may not like it. Not all rooms are super soundproofed, but the only thing you may hear are other guests and the birds in the morning.

Nice place to stay on the Westweg. More expensive than other guesthouses but also much fancier and for the price I paid was actually quite reasonable given that it has a pool and sauna

very nice place, clean! with a swimming pool you can access till 10:00 pm ?. Top Chef in the restaurant of the hotel! it was delicious!

welcoming is almost non-existent. the lady who received us did not smile, unpleasant (we had the feeling of disturbing her). there was a bad atmosphere in general. Little flexibility… indeed, we had sat down in the restaurant in the evening for dinner but did not know that we had to use the same place again the next day for breakfast. we almost got scolded…

very nice rooms, wonderful spa area, great staff and a gourmet kitchen. excellent all around.

The hotel is very clean, the rooms are comfortable. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. I have stayed here already a few times and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.
