Hotel & Chalets Herrihof

We stayed in one of the chalet cabins and really enjoyed our stay, the cabin was comfortable and quiet. The view from the patio and balcony was amazing and it was large enough that everyone was able to have their own room. A definite bonus! Plus the main building offered a very nice breakfast and access to after hours drinks if that's your thing. The staff was also super accomodating!

Only a couple small things stood out, the layout of the cabin was a little strange, one and a half bathrooms but they are located right next to each other on the bottom floor while all the bedrooms were on the second floor, so you had to go down a very narrow staircase in the middle of the night if you needed to utilize one. Second was the shower head didn't want to stay put, but that was really just a minor inconvienence.

Cool place right in the middle of all great attractions! Beautiful views and peacful. Amazing breakfast!

The room was big, nice and clean with a good location.The location of the hotel it is nice. The breakfast was plenty, fresh and tasty.

Suggestion: Add a mini fridge inside the room

Space was big enough and location is amazing with clean rooms. Breakfast is good. staff's are great. In ratings its between Good and Very good

Big miss is No Lift and no help to carry the luggage to all the way to 3rd floor which has longer steps to reach with kids it was really difficult.

Bigger room than I espected. Breakfast was delicious. And staff has a really good attitude towards us.

Great location. In and out in one night so did t see the area much. Just passing through. Breakfast was great and so was the view!

the room was very cosy and clean .breakfast was also good.Even my kids liked it.

The hotel is really nice and clean. We really enjoyed our stay. Dinner was delicious, we had the pasta.

After arriving in the hotel they told me that they do not have a room for me and that I have to cancel the reservation , after canceling they wrote by booking : No show

Beautiful location, nice view of the mountains. Short drive or walk to the suspension bridge and the waterfall. Nice hikes starting in the backyard. We stayed in the main building but they have 4 chalets which can sleep up to 8 people.

Breakfast is served between 8-10, however if you make it there around 9 or after there are not many food options left. Especially a concern if due to food allergy you have nothing left to eat. I’d recommend replenishing. But then there was only one person attending to the whole breakfast area and the hotel was full plus people were checking out at the same time. So busy for just one individual.

Beautiful view, well equipped kitchen, large dining area, big rooms and a big shower. Close to many black forest attractions.

Need to climb with the luggage, wifi is not stable, no toilets on the bedroom floor so we had to use the stairs at night

The host was friendly, the breakfast was good, the room was clean, the location good.

The room did not have a balcony, and the window was towards an interior garden where we couldn't see anything. Old style, small, no air-con on extremely hot days. High price for what it is.

Great location, just 10 minutes walk from the hiking roads and Waterfalls. Friendly staff, easy access, amazing views from the rooms as well as from the restarant

It is surprising how small choice vegetable they serve at breakfasts all over Germany, this place had 2 - tomato and cucumber, but taking into consideration that it is a warm region, one could expect paprika, green salads, etc

The location was very beautiful. In general everything was good. Room was on the very top floor.nice view

Access room was through some narrow staircase, bit difficult with kid and Kinderwagen. Room was and for the money it was not overcharged by booking.com

All good, food,drink ,room , service.

Good stay

Climb stairs with my 6 month kid every time with luggage is bit difficult as I got my room on 3rd floor

All the staff were lovely. Self service bar with reasonable prices and basic but good rooms. Excellent meals (including wild boar and deer) in the restaurant though somewhat limited selection. Sauna has fantastic views. We plan to return for another stay.

Pillows too thick and fluffy.

Beautiful view, everything made of wood, great breakfast.

Bathroom and shower are bit too close to each other and it's not so comfortable.

Lovely views in a beautiful area, very nice hotel. Clean and nice breakfast. I'd 100% stay here again.

The place is beautiful and the view is amazing. The cabin is clean and equipped with everything you can imagine. Anders the manager was kind and the communication with him was easy. He was very helpful.

There is no air conditioning or nets in the windows
