Everything was perfect ☺️

Breakfast could have some more variety like veggies (only cucumber was offered) , coffee/cappuccino was good in taste but not hot enogh - just warm -pitty. Brought this fact to the attention of the staff ( owner we think) but the next day there was no improvement. Food in their restaurant/pizzeria - Bella Italia - is very good and fairly priced. We visited the Black forest Line bridge (spanning 450m above Todtnau Waterfall) . Awesome and lots of trails to hike plus we got the Guest card at the Hotel and benefitted from free entrance to the bridge (€9 each) .

Parking is some 200 metres away although there is nearby parking for free Sundays.

The room was wonderful with grotto and/or Roman like details and complete with just about everything you can wish for. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was pretty basic but complete for what we expect.

It was hard to find the hotel entrance (it is to the side of an Italian Restaurand). And we ran out of hot water (for the jacuzzi), but other than that everything was wonderful

Well located in a small town. In the main helpful staff but access to hotel tricky to find. Room small but clean and had rustic feel and was above the restaurant although no noise issues existed.

Breakfast very basic with no staff involvement , buffet style food laid out. Italian staff member truly hopeless regarding taking orders and continually getting things wrong. Other staff having to apologise for him on a number of occasions . Other visitors had same issue with this staff member. Classic example was ordering a red wine and a rose and he brought a red and a white. Never listened which was why a pizza never arrived either.

The staff were all very kind. They also manage the restaurant which is excellent. The room was spacious and we had a view of the beautiful church. The location is excellent.

Location was superb.Restaurant was good.Not a lot open elsewhere.They provided discount vouchers for local tours n busses etc.

We had a dated family room nothing like the pictures, basic continental breakfast nothing hot.

A confusing check-in experience. Difficult to find the reception in the first place, no staff present, no-one answering the phone number, had to go and look for someone in order to check-in... a bit of a mess...

This was a cute hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Cleanliness was very good, and the breakfast had enough variety to meet our needs and preferences.

We had the room with the red painted France lily’s on the wall and a shower. The room overall was clean and specious and de beds were okay. Bit too hard but with your own pillow doable. The included breakfast was very nice a lot of different meat choices, cheeses, and sweets.

The room was very dark even during the day we needed to turn the lights on this was not as aspected. And the curtains were not wide enough to cover up the window. Furthermore we needed to lift the chairs and put them against the curtains so light wouldn’t fall in during the night (lanterns). Lastly it was a bit hard to find, the main entrance was a bit hidden behind the restaurant, and check-in was during the time the restaurant was fully opened so that took some additional effort.

We didn't stay in the hôtel because there was some issues in the room, no way to fix it quickly and no other room available.But the crew has done all of what was possible to fix the situation and offered us accompagnement to find another place to stay. They of course didn't charge us.Wanted to share because despite the misfortune, the expérience could have been much worse.
