Room and view was beautiful

My friends and I had separate rooms towards the end of the resort - both rooms did not have any hot water. Staff said because the rooms are far away. Wasnt offered compensation for this, only given a reason. I would love to come back but need hot water in the shower.Thanks

F&B Staff at the Bar were wonderful and attentive. Rooms were really amazing.

Alacarte food taste and quality could have been better.

Very well located in the nature reserve. Rooms and bathroom were large and well decorated. Staff were very well trained, polite and friendly. Food buffet had a very large arrangement of different cuisines that cater for all palates. Pool and entertainment area was large and very stylish. Has a good gym.

The property looks a little tired and requires some maintenance in the rooms and other areas. Not a lot but for a 5 star hotel, there should not be paint on walls that are pealing or poorly touched up.

Maintained work being carried out. Pool area very run down. Spa didn’t provide services they advertised on menu and were fully booked.

Everythin about this hotel waz excelent. The location, the rooms, food and facility was great. Wish we had more time to enjoy! Will return and advise anyone to visit this hotel.

Not a charming hotel (but I knew it) - pretty big. Food is average. Value for money is not good

The interior dining room is quite crowded and noisy. But the exterior is amazing

This hotel is paradise!! It's right by the beach, in a national park. There are cows roaming near the pool that are super friendly and calm. The hotel even offers a wake up service for you to watch baby turtles hatching. Absolutely amazing.

A calm and tranquil retreat in the middle of the National Park . Warm welcome, professional and speedy check in. Exceptional service at reception with all requests and requirements met with a smile.Our room was clean, large and incredibly comfortable with a balcony overlooking the ocean.The pool here is worth spending a full day to unwind after an early Safari start to the day. Loved the swim up bar. The food was also exceptional with a huge choice both at breakfast and dinner - super high standard, great cocktails at the bar too! Overall a wonderful stay - we would come again

Only the view

They had a high chair but not safe for kids because no belt. My self and partner have to carry the pushchair 15 stirs, no life. Very very expensive, bad customer service very rude staff. Not happy with our stay. Not suitable for kids. No kids play area

Big rooms, huge shower. Good rooms and clean. Good cocktail/drinks selection and good food a la carte. Friendly personnel in the bar. Very big pool with warm water, pool bar, many spaces to lay. The beach is close where you can walk, but no swimming allowed. Very close to the Yala block 1, about 10 minute drive.Lots of animals around, we saw elephant, monkeys, cows,lizards.

When we arrived the reception lady who was walking us to the room stopped in the middle of the way and asked if we can just walk ourselves as she is tired. Poor service for a 5 star. When we arrived in the room, it was full of mold on the wall next to the bed. This reception lady said that it is nothing and there is no mold. The smell was horrible of mold, and after demanding to speak to the manager they did change it to the normal room. There is literally nothing around, and if you want extra water - it’s 900 LKR per bottle. The transfer price back to Colombo if you are going, is about 250 USD, so be aware.

Staff was phenomenal throughout our entire stay. From the time we entered the property until the time we left everyone that engaged us went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and assist with any and all of our needs. Property was well kept up, the shower space was incredible, swimming pool had a group of monkeys in the trees that afternoon while we were swimming, which enhanced the entire surroundings.Can't miss the warm cashews with the chili and garlic served by the pool, drinks were all well prepared!Was just an overall 10/10 experience.

Excellent base for safari as it’s 15-20mins to the entrance, which means you can do morning or afternoon easily. Buffets usually avoided when we go on holiday but this one was good and freshly cooked seafood and meat on outside stations. Views from the bar, magnificent. Only concern was the decorative fish pools at the end block looked like the filtration was broken and was quite polluted. Please address as a matter of urgency. I chose this hotel for the convenience to safari location over the more boutique stays I chose elsewhere. I wasn’t expecting a lot and knew it would be a big sprawling international style hotel - it was all these things but the difference is - location is superb, views outstanding, staff very friendly & helpful and food far better than expected.

Position

My friend and I lived there for one night, and my friend bites by bugs with more than 100 places on her body. But when we complained to the hotel, they refused to accept that and even said that’s might be food allergy, even we can find bug’s body. Eventually they didn’t apologize and just saying it never happened before. However, we searched other customer also complained their bugs and cleaning problem. And this is our worst experience ever.

It’s a beautiful location and the staff were good but the hotel needs a makeover! Everything was tired!The buffet was really good, the hoppers lady made the best hoppers!

Swimming pool was amazing. Bed was very comfy. Good mocktails. Rooms were huge. Location was perfect. Wildlife whilst relaxing by the pool.

Evening meal was like a conveyer belt. Our table was cleared mid-meal whilst we went up for more food. We were asked for our room number twice when we had already given it. Nobody checked if the meal was ok and nobody came round to ask if we wanted drinks. Not what you would expect for the price. This put us off staying here again.
