Mandara Rosen Hotel

I loved the environment, the first impression was fantastic. The room was very spacious, quiet and very comfy. Spent a lovely night. It's located just 2km away from Kataragama Temple and was very convenient.

Everything was above and beyond so had nothing to say that I didn't like it.

We booked this property as it was close to Block 4-5 of Yala NP. Our kids enjoyed the large pool.The rooms were large and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The roadside cafe at the front of the hotel took an hour to serve our lunch.Eating outside of the hotel required a tuk-tuk, as it was 15 mins to walk into town.

I found the price a bit high with regards to the level of quality, this is definitely not a 5 star hotel. Will deserve 3 stars

The room was not clean , the floor was dusty

The hotel has standard rooms and is very clean. All the staff from reception to the restaurant were really friendly. The room was clean, nice, and spacious.

Location was very good, near to safari . Room size and resort space was good

Staff behavior very disappointing. Only two water provided for the more they charge x3 times higher the standard price ! Pool and facilities around it not clean , monkey drink water from pool and they don’t care about skin disease! Pool boards and mattress not clean ! They provide only one towels for the pool not more!

Spacious room

:My wife had a medical emergency during our stay, but there was no trained staff, no emergency assistance, and no transport available. This is a serious failure of guest safety and basic duty of care. Immediate action is needed to prevent such negligence in the future.

Good breakfast. Had so much of varieties. Location is very close to worship arears. Spa was superb.

everything was ok

The room was very comfortable and situated facing the orchard (mango trees) in natural surroundings. Monkeys swinging from trees to trees was a great sight.

Staff could be a bit more helpful and could maintain enough stock of electric plug adapters.

For the money I paid it was awful Can’t rip customers off like thisAlso I wanted an extra 50l drinking water they said they have to charge , I travelled alot all over the world , first time I came across this incident Bedsheets had stain marks , towels had stain marks Value for money very poor

Friendly staff, good meal , perfect location

Beds were confortable. Swimming was big. Food was great. Staff members really lovely.

There was lot of light at night in the room. It was not dark enough. Some staff in the restaurant area did not understand much, so I asked for a sparkling water and I got a still water.

Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable Staff is attentive

It was lovely.. Many health foods was included. Specially I liked Porridge,egg hoppers....etc

Spacious room, great atmosphere around the hotel, close to the Yala national park

Gym was bad, breakfast has a limited election

Large spacious room with large verandah with garden.Very co-operative and friendly staff.Comfortable stay.

Beds were creaking upon sitting down.The wi-fi was not working but they fixed it.No plug points around the bed for phone charging.No soap tray in the shower area.

Nice pool and spacious room

Staff at restaurants were not so good at English, difficult to communicate. The gym was smelly and small without air on so we couldn’t use it.

Great hospitality, professionally trained staff attends to fulfill customer requirements within a short period of time. Room is specious & clean. Food is tasty, specially the breakfast buffet is superb!! Thumbs up ?

Lovely pool. Nice rooms. The buffet was good and we had a great two days rest here. Safari was organised by the hotel and was a great morning out.

Location is good and staff is friendly and helpful. Drinks at the bar were fantastic and reasonably priced.

Been here several times and the food service used to be miles better and need to improve. At this time the food quality and variety is not adequate for the price.
