The rooms here are huge , lovely bathroom , the pool is so relaxing set in a really nice garden , the staff are so helpful even made an early morning takeaway breakfast when I had a 4.45am start fro Yala National park .I would stay again

The family were really helpful and told us about a festival happening in a nearby town and organised a tuk tuk and driver to take us there and back. They held our bags for us the next day while we were at the safari which was great. We also had some lunch after check in and the kotthu was great! Would recommend staying here

We had the best stay at River Front Hotel. The staff were so nice and helpful. They arranged safari for us too at a good price. The pool facilities were beautiful, we really enjoyed being surrounded by nature. The restaurant served delicious food, and they prepared breakfast for us to take away the morning of our safari. The room was big and clean.

We have never stayed somewhere so clean! The staff were beyond helpful and very hard working. Pool is delightful too. We had all our meals in house and they were delicious ?

- They organized a Safari at Yala for us. Price was fair and our Guide-Driver Winash was Just incredible. - got breakfast for the Safari day which was also Great. The lunch was our best sri lankan Food so far!!!!- the owner is so lovely and cares perfect about you- great pool and very clean garden

Beautiful hotel with very friendly attentive staff.The pool is amazing & restaurant very nice.Provided us with an early morning breakfast box for our 5:30am safari departure too.The family that run the hotel invited us to their home to celebrate the Sri Lankan new year with them & even shared their meal too!One of the definite highlights of our trip!!

Good place to stay for Safaris to Yala. Nice pool area, which we unfortunately did not use due to time.We stayed one more night, which was not a problem at all. For A/C you have to pay 1.000 rupies extra per night.

The pool was lovely! The staff very helpful! They organized a very good safari! They even helped us out with the transport to the next city!

The staff are amazing, very helpful, spoke English very well, the food in the restaurant was available later in the evening and was delicious. the rooms were immaculate and the garden and pool area also! 10/10 highly recommend!

There are places that are amazing not only because they are pretty but, mostly, because people working there make it special. Staff is fantastic, all of them helpful, cheering, and always happy. They make you feel home since when you step in. Rooms are very nice and clean.Breakfast was really tasty.

This is an excellent family run Hotel, a jewel in Tissa.. Immaculate in every aspects, rooms, general.areas, swimming pool all spotless. Food great staff wonderful and very helpful. Jeep safari to Yala organised directly at hotel. Great day with a very experienced driver. We even found a Leopard!! Car also organised for our onward trip to Ella I was sorry to leave River Front. Dont miss an opportunity to stay here if you are in Tissa or wish to do Yala Jeep Safari.

Our favourite hotel in Sri Lanka. The food was amazing, they were very accommodating to our vegan diet. The staff went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome. We went on a safari organized by the hotel and it was perfect. Our guide was very knowledgeable and knew where to find the animals. 10/10 book this hotel.

The rooms were spacious and spotless. The staff was super friendly and helped us with anything. Nice pool as well, and good breakfast. We ate one of the best kotthu with cheese and chicken in Sri Lanka in this place!

Very nice staff, and were very hospitable. Dinner was great and a lovely pool. Great value for money. They also decorated our room beautifully as we were celebrating our engagement!
