Idyllic location and well kept rooms, all clean and wonderful, staff friendly.

This cute property has everything I needed, and it is just quiet, warm and welcoming. The staff are very friendly, and the location cannot be any better. Breakfast is delicious, and the room is spacious. The overall ambiance is just so relaxing. I will definitely return and highly recommend everyone to consider Le George.

Lovely room , very clean and comfortable , lovely view out of our window. Breakfast was perfect enough choice for the family . Staff was very helpful too especially in recommending places to eat . We will return as such a wonderful historical area to visit . Parc zoo beauval was near enough for us to travel too aswell.

Loche is not a very big place, but the hotel is within easy walking distance of all we wanted to see

Excellent setting adjacent to a small wier. Parking in the town outside was convenient and monitered. Superb restaurant in the hotel. Excellent breakfast.

The breakfast is served in a sun room overlooking a river. It is full of bird life and is a peaceful beautiful setting.

Nice roomRestaurant not bad. They use Microwave so what should have been a nice bit of boar from local forest was a rather tasteless hunk of meat with no related sauce - eg Grand Veneur or marinade

Had to be careful not to bang your head on the slopes on the ceiling, due to the shape of the roof. This was on the 2nd floor.

Room was bit cold ( late December ) but heating was turned up on request. Limited choice in the restaurant though the food was excellent.

Ambience, the staff was friendly and efficient. Great location as I was on foot so it was close to centre-ville and the train station. Breakfast was right next to the river, so I had a pretty view.

The stairs are very picturesque, but difficult to manage with luggage. There is an elevator. The breakfast was expensive for what I ate - my fault entirely as I only had yogurt, OJ and hot chocolate. I think that it would be a good value for someone who ate a lot more than I. I was fine with it, but the floor was uneven because it's in a very old building - anyone unsteady might have an issue.

The hotel decor is interesting: the staff pleasant and professional; the riverside location attractive and the restaurant very very good. All for a modest price. It does not disappoint.

The bed was comfortable.

The shaggy carpet in the room needs replacing in my opinion. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. The dinner was passable and the breakfast was poor.

Comfortable room. Very large comfortable bed. Coffee maker with coffee pods. Beautiful stone spiral staircase to access rooms - feels like you are in a castle (there is an elevator also available). Within walking distance of Loches Castle and town. Free public car park to rear of property. There is a restaurant that serves dinner and breakfast but I did not use it. There is a McDonalds 2km away.

WIFI connection was variable. Ceiling panes may be an issue for a taller person
