We had a lovely stay at Hotel de Biencourt. In the heart of the village. A great room with its own private patio.

A great small hotel. Right next to the Chateau in Azay. Comfortable bed, good size room (ground floor), right on the courtyard terrace. Good shower. Great breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet. Convenient private parking. Just perfect.
Charming, delightful boutique hotel. Perfect setting, beautiful courtyard, friendly staff, great bed, updated room and bath, wonderful breakfast.
We were welcomed warmly and felt that the manager of the hotel would do anything for us! The room was spacious and very comfortable. What a great find this hotel is...We will certainly return.
The breakfast was wonderful with local produce. Thomas made us very welcome.
No tea and coffee making facilities.
Beautiful restore location with great places to eat nearby. Staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful.
It was very hot when we were there, and the AC could not keep up during the day. It cooled off nicely at night.
What a special and charming place! Hôtel de Biencourt is perfectly located just steps away from the stunning Château d’Azay-le-Rideau, with plenty of excellent restaurants and lovely shops just a stone’s throw away. The hotel itself is full of character and warmth, offering both comfort and charm in equal measure. The receptionist and owner were very welcoming and accommodating—they truly went out of their way to make us feel at home and clearly enjoyed playing and interacting with my little girls. We would love to return!
I would have appreciated a bit more variety at breakfast, but overall, it was a truly delightful stay.
Location is wonderful, right at the entrance to the castle and lots of great eating places. The room was small but comfortable.
Would have loved for an espresso machine in the room for the early riser.
Great welcome, friendly staff, a good place to staz in Azay, rall Central.
All good.
Location very good, easy short walk to restaurants and chateau
Parking charge for one day ended at check-out time so if visiting the chateau had to move car before travelling on.
Great location. Friendly staff. Clean.
This is another place that rates quite high for my family, with 30 years of experience of traveling to Europe! The owner is phenomenal and warmly welcomed us when we arrived. As it was before our room was ready, we could leave our luggage at the property. Communication prior to arrival was excellent. The facilities, including our beautiful room and bathroom, are great. The breakfast room has plenty of options. The exterior courtyard was peaceful and charming. The location of the hotel is perfect, being a 1 minute walk to Chateau d'Azay-le-Rideau. The small village is serene and easy to explore during a short evening walk.We parked (2 nights) at the free spots in "Parking de La Passerelle", about 5 minutes away. There might be free overnight parking a bit closer at L'ilot d'Azay, but ask beforehand if it is free and legal.Definitely make Hotel de Biencourt your choice when in this part of France. You will not regret it!
Beautiful setting in a lovely picturesque town
Nothing to dislike! It’s an old building that’s very well maintained and presented. It’s in a pedestrianised street which may put guests off but turrets secure parking and you can unload your car outside the hotel.
Everything was great. Helpful friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Booked a small room but bed was large and very comfortable. Excellent location close to château
The property and the village were so charming. The staff were professional and welcoming. The furniture and linens were comfortable. We had a wonderful time as a family. Highly recommend.
Nothing to complain about!
Excellent location, very clean. Most helpfull staff.
Hotel was in centre of village, right next to the Chateau, secure off road parking close by. Really friendly staffNo dinner served on site but good recommendations locally. Offered upgrade on room at booked rate for lesser room
