Pros +
- Everything. Hotel employee on reception were great help with dinner reservations & recommendations as well as our daily itinerary. The location is superb if you have a car.
- Hotel Pietracap is an excellent place to stay in Bastia. Beautiful rooms with a great view. Breakfasts were delicious and bountiful. The staff as very professional and helpful.
- Hotel Pietracap is an amazing place with especially helpful staff for people who speak only English. The breakfasts were excellent, and we enjoyed the garden and olive tree grove. Everything about the place was first class.
Cons -
- The allocated room was below 1st floor and only way to get in is via stairs, so very difficult to carry heavy luggage to and from room.
- It is not acceptable to allow smoking at the pool, particularly if food is being served there. We would have not booked had we known that.
- It was up a steep, winding road without sidewalks so not great for walking. Breakfast was very good and plentiful but expensive. I would prefer a Continental breakfast option for a lower price.

Very well put together and excellent value. We stayed there for the second time in three weeks.

Beautiful and refreshing pool, lovely grounds, very good restaurant, exceptionally clean. We loved staying here for three days and wished we could have stayed for another day. Spacious room was well equipped with a small refrigerator and a balcony with a table and chairs. The front desk put out cookies and lemon water. They had a charger for our electric car!

Beautiful, clean and spacious property. Very relaxing. Super friendly and helpful staff.
Nothing wrong with the property but it was a bit far to walk into town several times a day. Would work perfectly if you have a car and plan on driving to most places.
The view, the pool, the parking
There was no bar open
the garden , the pool, the location and the very friendly staff
nothing to say here …
Beautiful view and gardens, very tasty breakfast; extremely helpful and friendly staff; great bed.
The hotel is beautiful in a wonderful location, but for me a car was really necessary. The welcome and helpfulness of reception staff outstanding. I'm so sorry not to leave a tip for the young lady who helped me with my luggage, but had run out of liquid cash. The room was great. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast plentiful and excellent. The restaurant food and the staff who run it are again outstanding. The pool area is great and views are excellent. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to return.
If the weather is bad the lack of a lounge is inconvenient but the quality of the room makes up for that. For me, with limited mobility, the situation of the hotel would have been difficult without s car. However, viewing the location on Google Maps you can see that one was necessary for me.
Peaceful, lovely views. Large breakfast buffet selection.
Initial strange and unpleasant odour in one room. Possibly drains. Disappeared after a couple of hours so didn’t complain. Hotel was full wouldn’t have been able to move us and we were only there for one night. Very limited menu options for vegetarians.
One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. All of the staff were lovely and always happy to help with a smile. Our room was upgraded on arrival to a junior suite with a sea view and what a fabulous room it was. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and with lots of light from the huge windows opening onto a generous balcony. The continental style breakfast buffet was excellent. The garden and pool were well maintained, quiet and beautiful. An additional nice touch was the water fountain in adjacent to reception making still / sparkling water available 24/7.
If we were being very picky, the dinner menu was a little limited. The hotel could also benefit from a bar.
The stuff was very helpful and nice and the breakfast was delicious with home made jams
A bit far from the city centre and the nearest beach
Great restaurant, beautiful garden, amazing breakfast, swimming pool with a view, comfortable room, modern gym, great value for money
Nothing, we wish we had planned to stay longer.
Lovely garden, relaxing by the pool. Very friendly people
the view is amazing. pool is perfect. rooms are comfortable and modern
Refurbished hotel, but not as luxurious as the photos make out. We stayed on the last night before the airport. Good food
The beautiful garden and surroundings as well the pool. Good restaurant.
Comfortable rooms. Good location to explore the cap. Really peaceful hotel after a day out. Loved the hammock. Excellent customer service. Laura at reception could not have done anymore. Thank you.
Would have been good to have had a written list of hotel services to use during our stay. Although we were verbally given some information on arrival I was not aware til we left this morning that the hotel had access to a beach.
