Good location in the centre of the city, easy to get in and out; walking distance to everywhere. The staff was courteous and ready to help and answer our questions.

The location is terrific.

The first room I had was the studio. The hotel did not tell me it was a sofa bed. My second booking the shower barely worked. I can't add the video, but the shower barely worked. No one responded.

Excellent location. Very quiet with the windows closed. Reception staff one in particular spoke perfect English and was very helpful with our questions and free baggage storage for a few hours.

We booked the lowest price room and it was small with no balcony. This is what we booked so expected.

The breakfast was very good, as was the location.

The room was much smaller than the pictures depicted. We were supposed to get a City View room but on a scale of 1-10, the view was a minus 10; a deep, elevator-like shaft down to the outdoor workings of the hotel. The response we received when we questioned the staff about our expected city-view was: "if you had a room with a view there would be street noise."

Breakfast was not included with our stay and was overpriced anyway.

Shower didn't have appropriate drainage and it leaked all over the bathroom floor. The trim boards are also rotting due to continuous water exposure.

The staff is very friendly, welcoming and professional. The breakfast is varied and delicious. The hotel is recently restored to a fine, albeit architecturally neutral standard. The standard of cleaning is high.

The view to a back yard was not very interesting.

Good location for exploring the old port. We arrived late and were able to find a restaurant open nearby. The receptionist was extremely helpful. Real fast was very good. Worth the 14 e

No alternate to bright overhead lights for reading at the bedside. No good air movement in the room so we had to open the window which had a lot of street noise.

Friendly staff and located close to port and shod and restaurants. Rooms are basic and small but ok for an overnight stay for an early walk to ferry next day.

Rooms are very small and lift can only fit one person with luggage at a time.

Hôtel was in close vicinity to the port which suited us coming in by Corsica Ferries. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We are staying there again and would recommend it to others for short stays.

A shelf for toiletries was missing. And the room could have used one more chair in the corner to lay clothing on.

We liked the property very much. It is very clean, the towels are changed every day and they have very nice shampoo and body gel with smell of jasmine and bergamot, almost like five stars hotel. The position is central, very closed to the train and bus station. This was important to us as we took the train from Bastia to Ajaccio. You can also do a long walk to the Arinella beach, it takes less than hour by foot. The breakfast was very good, nice big croissants and brioche.

Lovely hotel in a great location for visiting the town. The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was big enough with a good bathroom and shower. Big comfortable bed.

Shower rubber at bottom falling apart and shower water was not hot. No wifi TV stations (told only the apartment suites have this feature).

Very nice staff, helpful and attentive at the reception and during breakfast.The breakfast was good quality, except for the coffee machine that was also used for hot tea water. it was lukewarm. Everything else looked fresh, tasty and there was plenty.Location is great between ferry port and train station.

The rooms are small, but as we were only for one night in Bastia, all fine.

I thought the staff at Hotel Continental were outstanding, so friendly and helpful, and always greeted you with a smile. The breakfast was outstanding. I would definitely stay here again. The location is perfect if you are coming or going by Ferry because you can walk there from the terminal.
