Clean modern facilities

It says 0,5 km from the beach but doesn’t say that there is a highway in between that you can not cross.

The swimming pool, jacuzzi and spa were excellent. A particular mention for Tiffen who gave me one of the best massages I've ever had. The restaurant and bar were also pleasant.

The location isn't great even though the garden area is nice. The room was also a bit sparse.

The staff was friendly.

Ostella Spa & Resort is not a 4-star hotel by any stretch of imagination. It looked rather like a mid-range American motel. Quite a disappointment after having spent a week in excellent hotels in other Corsican towns.

The property is clean and they provide free parking.

They don’t provide lunch or dinner services during the weekend. Luckily we have cars and can drive to the town centre for meals.

We took a short drive ( 4min) to the hotel’s restaurant Sole Meo which is beautiful beachfront and very nice. The staff and food was excellent! Spent the day at the beach which was nice.

The only thing I would say is that we were a bit disappointed when we arrived, the hotel is not beachfront, it’s just off the main highway, you can’t really walk to the beach unless you cross the main highway which is difficult and not advised. It’s in an Industrial area, no other restaurants around and nothing to do in the area, but it is about a 8 min drive or bus ride to the old town (which was not bad).Overall it was good.

Not perfectly clean, very small, overall rather a 3 star than a 4 star hotel

Staff is friendly and very helpful with their recommendations. Bianca the Italian girl at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. She recommended gepetto an excellent Italian restaurant and helped us with the taxi services

Rooms are very basic and they don’t have a hair dryer

The hotel is a bit further from the historical center but close to the sea. You can get to the city center by taxi. The room was clean and comfortable, the air conditioning worked very well and you could get a good night's sleep. Very friendly and helpful staff, all questions were solved promptly. The hotel itself is authentic, beautifully and originally decorated. The spa area has a pool, but there was no sauna for some reason. There are beds in the air, where you can relax in a quiet atmosphere.We were taken to the beach by the hotel staff as it is far from the hotel itself. The beach has all the facilities which made us very pleasant. There is a restaurant on the beach that serves very tasty food. Thank you for a good summer holiday.

One day on the beach the waiter didn't serve us for a very long time, although he went to the neighboring booths and brought their orders. After repeatedly expressing our dissatisfaction we were able to get water and food. Unfortunately, the contingent on the beach is not always adequate, very noisy and it was impossible to rest in peace that day.

Reasonably friendly reception

A/C pretty much non existent. Small cramped and dated rooms. The wellness spa was fetid and over hyped. OK for a night definitely not for an extended stay. Needs an update. No idea why it gets such great reviews.

The staff

Superior Room paid extra for overlooks kitchen balcony where staff take breaks and smoke. Should have chosen the cheaper category ! Always wondered if used Third party site do you get room by the Kitchen with a small view of the ocean. Asked to change but would not.There was a large party took over ground floor for dinner (Friday night)would have given you dinner in your room .I should have been told when checked in as hotel in strange location an no walkable restaurant basically hotel or nothing or a 20 euro ride to town.

The restaurant was very good, both for breakfast and dinner. The shower room very good. Staff very helpful.

Rooms very dark. No air conditioning so unable to sleep as rooms too hot even with window open. Not enough hangers for a weeks stay, had to triple up everything. Pool totally unsuitable to get in if you are unable to swim, as too deep to do exercise. No signs saying how deep it was, which must be illegal. We were not informed that the restaurant closed on Sunday night and Monday lunchtime, so when we came down for dinner there was nothing.

Both room and bathroom were very comfortable and tastefully decorated, the bed was very comfortable, staff very kind and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty, they even had juice press for freshly made orange juice. The little balcony was an unexpected plus we enjoyed very much. The restaurant serves excellent dinner. There's enough parking spaces for the guests. Would recommend to anyone who travels to Bastia.

The staff were amazing, very willing and helpful in a relaxed way. We were on a stopover and arrived late but enjoyed the nice bar on the terrace and the spa pool and garden the next day. The breakfast was good with a wide selection. The hotel is well positioned for getting out of the city to the rest of the island. The mood is pleasant and laid back. Enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast, though crepes should be refilled, instead of guest being advised to have pancakes instead, on the argument that “pancakes are also very good “

Location, room view on an industrial area, impossible to enjoy the room balcony because of the heavy traffic noise during the day plus getting covered with mosquitos in the evening. As a result the balcony door could never be opened. The hotel decor and general display was rather messy to my taste. Had to pay attention not to fall down the stairs when leaving the 5th floor elevator . Parking small, though easy to park on the street. Need a car to Bastia .

The staff was very friendly and spoke English. Free parking and convenient location near supermarket.Pools are really good. The room was also good.

The best hotel in Bastia for leisure or work travel.It's an excellent team from the chef who prepares dedicated delicious breakfast to the team who performs massages

Spectacular breakfast, with dedicated "egg chef", orange juice presser, crepes etc. etc. Excellent staff and service, who exceeded expectations after our ferry was delayed 4.5 hours to prepare something for us to eat and drink as the kitchen was closed when we arrived at 22:30. Unfortunately didn't get to use the spa facilities, but the breakfast alone is worth staying here for!
