Hôtel Le Bastia

Convenient location above the old town, 10-minute walk to center. Breakfast was excellent quality breads, cheeses, etc. Sea view from window was beautiful.

Nice size clean and quiet room with a view on the sea (far away). Nice and helpful staff. Large inside parking. Quick elevator going to the garage as well. Comfortable bed. Microwave (but no dish) and fridge and coffee maker in the room. 2 luggage racks (which is rare).

No supper served at the hotel but room delivery from various restaurants nearby available. Hotel location fairly high on the hill; need to be in “good shape” to walk to and from the hotel

This hotel is exceptional quality and reasonably priced. The hotel has a great location, 15 walk from the old port. The room was top notch, modern. It offered a parking for 8 Euros, even if parking is pretty available on the street. I would recommend it to anyone.

Quiet and breakfast.

Evening Reception was not welcoming, dirty carpet in room and AC not cooling right. I live in Florida so I know AC. In 15 years with booking I have only left a few bad reviews this one of them.

The hotel staff were awesome and took great care of us. The A/C was down and they contacted us ahead of time and offered a full refund if we wanted to cancel. We chose to stay and they provided us with a fan and unlimited cold bottled water. The breakfast was very good. I highly recommend purchasing it with the room for the convenience. The view from our room was gorgeous! Well worth the walk.

We foolishly decided to walk from the port with 2 large suitcases to the hotel. Google said it's only a mile so it would be a good jaunt! Silly us. We walked along a nice walk, which then went up a set of stairs reminiscent of the 4th John Wick movie. I thought that would be it, but I was wrong! It then became a gravel path which turned into a washed out path which never ended. We finally topped out after going up another set of steps to finally get to the hotel. I think we climbed about 5000 ft ;-). Anyway, don't be us.get a taxi.

Large room, friendly stuff, modern room, and bathroom.

Few remarks what annoyed me in this hotel:1. There is a kitchen stove, microwave, and cabinets in the room, but not a single glass or utensils, so what's the point?2. Room had toilet separated from the bathroom, but who thought it's a good idea not to place a single sink to at least wash hands after toilet? Also, it's a bit claustrophobic room.3. Breakfast can definitely offer a few more options.4. Plastic food covers are extremely annoying-hard to handle. Having no space where to put a plate when taking food only makes things worse. Also, the most consumed food is placed in the niche, causing unnecessary queues if it was only organized differently.5. The room is huge. There is still a special table for the telephone, but there is no coathanger or any hanger of a type where wet beach towels and swimming clothes could be left to dry.6. Labeling all doors, especially ones that guests need to use in the staircase, is really needed.Overall, the hotel is good, but it seems like management was too experienced or didn't care when organizing this hotel.

Room is spacious.

Room has kitchen in which you find nothing, even a glass for water. Not really clear why kitchen is empty if it comes absolutely empty. We found only one dirty cup in a drawer. We asked for a queen bed and we had almost received it. They pulled two beds together which has a different high! Little bit absurd to be honest. Location is in a nice residential area but quite outskirt of town. If it is a one night before the ferry that works but over wise wouldn’t recommend

The location is very good if you have your own car. Very friendly staff, very clean. The room size is convenient, beds are a bit soft.

The bedsheets were put very sloppily, making big folds. There were only two small towels, not a big one for shower.

Great central location and easy to locate. Big comfortable bed and the room was warm. Bar fridge to cool bought beverages.

Parking was difficult, the first carpark was full but that was not indicated. You had to exit completely onto a main road, travel to turn around and enter the second parking which had space. Bathroom was very poorly lit, particularly the shower. No drinking water in the rooms, you can purchase at an additional cost from reception.

Very helpful on reception. A decent business hotel well-run, well equipped ;I would definitely stay here if I were there again.

The room was clean and really nice.

The window from our room was right next to the road with so many cars. Expensive room with a bad view.

The beds were comfortable, we had an apartment upgrade on arrival from 2 bedroom to 3 bedroom, and the kids got each their own room, the bathrooms are large, the view is perfect to see a sunrise. Friendly and helpful staff.

Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay at Hotel Le Bastia. The huge 3 bedroom apartment was well equiped and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were welcoming and helpful.

New renovation

On map looks not far from downtown, but the way to the hotel takes a time and always up a hill

Clean modern staff friendly

Room was adjoining room, wasn’t soundproofed (why in a new hotel?) could hear everything in the next room

Beautiful rooms, very comfortable beds and a great shower.
