Pros +
- Les Roches Rouges is not just a hotel. it's a PARADISE! Heaven on South of France !If you are looking for a perfect escape from routine and relax - you MUST be here. Special “thank you” to Lea and the team who made our stay superb. They took our doubts and cover with comfort and joy. We spent 2 incredible nights there and enjoyed each moment. The room with amazing view and comfortable bed, bath tube, balcony are 100/10. Breakfast variety is great. Pools with sunbeds are 10/10. Meet sunrises and sunsets. I can continue but just try it out. Highly recommend and already plan next stay there.
- Breakfast, pool & views were incredible. We had a really nice and relaxing time. Concierge was really helpful and kind with helping us book dinner reservations.
- Unbeatable location directly in the Mediterranean. Very relaxing with plentiful lounge chairs around the pools and waterside.
Cons -
- nothing! i wish to stay longer there!
- Staff by the pool and at the restaurants at breakfast and lunch were really slow and unattentive so we had to wait around a lot. The place was very expensive of course, as expected. Not sure we will be back as we were not wooed at all during our stay - the really amazing things were not the service but the location, but you exhaust that over 2-3 days.
- Limited selection of equipment for water sports. I was looking for a single kayak, which they didn’t have.

The views from the room were stunning. Lots of places to lounge by the Mediterranean and take in the shoreline.

The aesthetic and design is absolutely what makes this hotel a destination. The rock carved pool and unobstructed beach front views with no other immediate nearby hotels is amazing. The spa masseuse Carolina is absolutely amazing at the lymphatic gua-sha style massge, go for the 75 min. The breakfast was consistently great for eggs and fresh fruit along with tons of baked breads and croissants. Options for every one, coffee/lattes great. The service by the pool well staffed and never a long wait for your order, the rooms very comfortable and all facing the water for the most part. Patios off the room perfectly sized to sit and enjoy the views, as well as outdoor movie nights a great touch! The restaurants while pricey, as expected, had great options and especially loved the wagu steak and frites. Customer service by the staff is viewed as 5-star as they will assist and rectify any reasonable issue.
There is confusion over the availability of a shuttle, as it is listed as an available amenity. We were explained later most guests arrive to the hotel by car transport or rental car. We are from NY and were visiting a few spots on the coast that are known for heavy traffic so we opted to use the train. As we have in Switzerland, italy, numerous times we assumed there would be transportation service from the stop to the hotel which was a 10-minute walk on a busy road with no sidewalk as we were arriving around 5pm. Since this hotel also doesn’t do email or booking.com message prior to your stay this aspect was missed on my end and we needed to pay €30 to get a taxi to drive all our luggage the 10 mins. Photo below is our walk to the train stop the day of departure. Due to the location being a little rural ubers are the cheaper option but not reliable for this exact need. Overall it might benefit the hotel to truly earn the 5-star rating by investing in a golf cart sized shuttle to offer for the guests who may be arriving/leaving via train. The hotel did compensate our taxi cost with beverages which highlights the great customer service. Additionally the lunch menu really needs a burger, sandwich or panini option or atleast chicken skewers, as others mentioned. Overall highly recommend!
Beautiful location and view. Beautiful design of the hotel.
Absolutely horrible service. I had to wait for a coffee in the morning for 20 minutes minimum and had to ask for it many times. And in the evening I waited for 2 hours for my main. The bill after this horrific service is very expensive. Looks like all the people working in the restaurant are interns and have no idea what they are doing. Very very disappointing service and it totally devalues this hotel.
Pool, ocean, location, food
Seaview was beautiful and the staff and the food was great.
The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. Worst bed and worst pillows
Great location, beautiful beach, friendly and professional staff, lovely rooms
We could enjoy the new wing with a sea view room and direct access to the beach. To me, the view, the location and the sea pool are exceptional and nothing matches it on the French Riviera. It is our 4th or 5th time there and we will be back !
The gym could have been with a sea view room:(Staff is young and nice but not always at the level of a 5 stars and at the price. You pay the view !
Great pool area and sun beds. Friendly staff around the pool and you can do all kinds of activities. Design of the whole hotel was very aesthetic.
Menu during the day and in the main restaurant had not such a big variety. Drinks at the pool were too expensive compared to how it was presented.
I could not dream up a more perfect hotel. I am already plotting my return back next summer. Everything is exceptional, from the staff & service to the amenities (2 POOLS AND AN OCEAN) and breathtaking views. If I were smart I would gatekeep this so it doesn't get so popular but that wouldn't be fair to the incredible Les Roches team!
Food, pool area, breakfast, great cocktails.
Shower
The room was exceptional, beautifully styled, amazing view, the bed was very comfortable. The choice of soft water pool, sea water pool or the sea is brilliant; they have a great selection of swimming accessories available to borrow (paddle, mask & scuba, fins, floaties...) for free, plus the paying excursions. The food and drink options are fantastic, from the poolside bar to the one Michelin star restaurant.
The service both at the poolside bar and the casual restaurant is a bit slow, and the downstairs toilets serving the restaurants and the pool were a little bit smelly.
There is nothing about this hotel that I could fault. What an EPIC stay we had! My husband and I spent the first part of our baby moon here and it set the expectations so high, nothing could match this place! The salt water / sea pool is phenomenal, the food is exceptional, beds are comfortable, service is fantastic and views are breathtaking! We loved every minute of our stay and it’s worth every single cent! We hope to return one day!
We loved everything!
Location is exceptional. Concept and facilities are perfect for sea side holiday. Staff is well trained and motivated to help guests.
Reception lacks capacity to service afternoon arraivals, guests are hanging somewhere and are kept in dark- wether their rooms are finaly ready. Restaurant reservations are clamsy - middle management are not as supportive as should be.
The location
Not very well kept up not 5 star quality great advertisement on internet. Rooms are not like pictures…very Joshua tree
It was our 4th time in this hotel. But unfortunately this year The service was not at the level expected. We used to love this place for its amazing location but it will be probably our last time.At this level of price you expect more .
The poor service
The hotel is very aesthetically pleasing - making the most of its surroundings, with very friendly staff. The overall offering is high calibre.
More food options for lunch, sunscreen at the pool.
