Best Western Plus Hotel La Marina

The breakfast bar was great - buy a light, cheapish breakfast at the bar rather than go for a full more expensive breakfast in the restaurant. The location is great, with a lovely walk along the quays lined with bars and restaurants.

It's a little bit far from the main part of town.

The Breakfast!!However, the basic breakfast could be much more improved. I personally would have like to have a choice of what I wanted for my meal and more coffee and or breakfast beverages. I think this will make your patron so much more happy!!

Our room - facing the harbour, clean and comfortable with a beautiful balcony Staff - the sun beds by the pool were full, but plenty of space - talked to reception- not a problem, two beds and parasol arrived immediately Restaurants 2 mins walk St Raphael centre 15 mins walk - we got taxi into the centre and walked back (as easy to get taxi from the hotel but not available taxis from the village )

Staff were very friendly. Also there were ample parking right beside the hotel - Free before 9am.

La Marina was the only hotel with a pool within a 20 minute of St Raphael that was available when we booked. However, there were loads of restaurants in and around the marina.

Too far too from the centre. Breakfast was expensive for what it was.

Great location with parking and many restaurants close by. The pool is large with many lounges and umbrellas. Aircon is effective and the rooms are well appointed with a fridge.

Beds a little soft and shower over bath is something I don’t like. Unfortunately there were always mosquitoes in the foyer and lounge area and this is a health concern.

The hotel was very good, clean and modern.The location was also good, quiet near the marina and some nice small bars and restaurants. Staff was friendly and very polite, especially ladies at the breakfast. Breakfast was amazing with a lot of varieties. There is also an outside area to enjoy the breakfast. Pets allowed with an extra 16 euros per night, and they are also allowed in the restaurant.The room was of a good size, clean with a good bathroom. Free coffee in the room, still and sparkling water available in the common area. They also provided a bottle for it :)Unfortunately we didn't have time to use a pool which seemed nice.Metered parking is available in front of the hotel and is not that expensive at all.

The hotel is very nice, can't say anything negative even though it is on a pricier side, but Saint Raphael is a very crowded and touristic place and there is nothing much to do there...

Very good variety of quality foods. We particularly liked the scrambled eggs and bacon.

The awkward access to the pool.

Rooms were great pool lovely. The location is good but you need a car or good mobility. Food on half board is lovely, but you need to eat a varied diet, not the best for fussy eater.. Most of the staff were so lovely and as expected very helpful. A few staff members are not very nice at all.

If you didn't have a varied diet, food was limited. i did eat the same starter and main 2 nights running . Out door restaurant seat if you carry a little extra pounds are very uncomfortable. And asking for butter for your bread during the evening meal service is apparently above a beond to one of the general managers

The staff was friendly and attentive, the food was tasty with a menu that changed daily, and breakfast was enjoyable. We appreciated the pool, garage, free water dispenser, and beach umbrellas during our stay. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, making the overall experience very pleasant.

Unfortunately, the room was not properly cleaned upon arrival, with hairs in the bathroom (bathtub and walls) as well as on the bed.

Good pool, underground on site paid for parking. Local bars and Spar but a walk to restaurants.Our room was small and tucked in a corner with no view but adequate and zircon was good.

An upgrade.

Great location, a short walk into the town. Staff friendly and helpful here. Beautiful pool area, kept clean with plenty of loungers. Poolside bar service was good.Lovely breakfast sitting out by marina.Room cool and comfortable.

Fitness centre was small and we didn’t feel very welcome - a group was already in there and they made us feel like we shouldn’t be there.Sleep disturbed by noisy people outside room.

Brilliant location at quieter end of St Raphael, pool area lovely, friendly and welcoming staff, onsite parking a bonus, breakfast really good and restaurant overlooking marina.

Slightly outdated decor in room. Exorbitant price of food onsite - much cheaper locally. Would’ve liked to have had lunch at hotel but no snacks available at reasonable price unfortunately.

Good location, sea front hotel, just across the port. A bit far from St. Raphael city center, but still manageable by walk on the seaside promenade, which was really nice.Friendly and supportive reception and restaurant staff.Good food, nice platting for dinner meals.Underground garage parking available, but a bit expensive.

Some options for dinner to choose from for the half-board accommodation, but pork meat was missing most of the time from the menu, which was not that good, as it is probably the most common meat for European people at least.A lot of mosquitoes in the restaurant, both inside and outside.Sometimes, the waiting time in the restaurant was longer than expected at dinner time, especially between the 3 courses (starter, main course, dessert) or even a mismatch of the order in some cases, when restaurant got busy or new employees were in charge of the order.Slippers not available in room directly, but provided at reception desk on request.

It was very central without been too busy.

Booking.com rated them as having parking which was essential for us. Although we requested we did not get a response in time. There parking was full but she said free parking outside (free meaning paying). Even if we had parking in the hotel she said we would still have to pay 16 euros. This issue cropped up a few times and we were not amused.

All round good Put in a poor room initially with no balcony and smoking odour (168 ) but moved next day Pool excellent

Location and clean room

Room doesnt have a coffee machine, buffet breakfast does not have that many options and fresh salad. Pastry was also not fresh. No natural shade by the pool.

Very clean hotel, our room was spotless every day. Very hard working cleaning staff indeed. The outside pool was also well kept and maintained. Very quiet seems to be a place for older folks which we didn't mind at all as we wanted peace and quiet. Good location around several cafés and restaurants. Quiet rooms, comfy beds and pillows. Safe and mini bar available in the rooms.

No parking available for free. Costs 10 euros a day but we found a residential side road nearby where we were able to avoid this cost. For a somewhat remote hotel, it's expected one drives and thus needs access to parking.
