About
Just 1148 feet from its own private beach and a few steps from Sanremo’s famous Casino, this hotel offers spectacular panoramic views of the sea. No wonder it is called Paradiso. The Paradiso was built in 1926, and has been run by the same family ever since. Franco Gaiani continues the family tradition providing wonderful hospitality. At the Paradiso you will enjoy a variety of regional cuisine, a 600 m2 garden, parking for up to 30 cars and use of the large swimming-pool during the summer. A rich buffet breakfast and a selection of Mediterranean cuisine is available daily. The hotel's American bar serves drinks on the terrace, around the swimming pool, throughout the day. The dining rooms overlooking the garden are ideal for ceremonies and business lunches. On request, the hotel provides a shuttle service from the Nice Côte d'Azur Airport at an additional cost.

Cons -
- the air con, impossible to set up for a reasonnable cooling temperature level (way too cold, and increasing the temperature target would not have impact), and since there is only one very light blanket we spent the whole night freezing (and you are not ready to call anyone in the middle of the night...so felt helpless)PLease add a real quilt, or at least a second one, thanks
- The room was small snd you could hear everything from next door room!We had to change room to the only one availableAnd had to PAY extra for this. Not good hotel policy
- The waitress on the morning buffet, she was extremly unfriendly

Location, decoration and cleanness.
This was a very charming hotel. the pool and lunch area was very welcoming. We loved our breakfasts and lunches at the hotel. The room with a balcony was overlooking the Mediterranean. the entire staff was so nice and helpful. We even had a slight billing issue when we came back home. Hotel Paradiso was very helpful and called us right away and fixed the problem. We loved our stay here.
We have nothing negative to say.
Was old but quite charming. Very clean. Nice little touches.
Difficult to find.
The location was great. Close, a 5 minutes walk, to the sandy beach or to the Casino. Parking at the hotel. Lovely breakfast. Beautiful views of the ocean from the rooms!!
The seagulls were very daring, stealing food right off the breakfast tables outside if you stepped away to get a glass of juice etc. Some spaces could use some updating considering it is a 4 star property.
Old family hotel with friendly staff - rooms have the flair of the 80ies and seen better days.
Fantastic breakfast, good choice, always filled up, enough tables, cud even sit outside. Nice pool, but cud be heated.
? Alt bra
Great location and nice facilities. Great staff. Good value.
Would have preferred to be on a higher level.
Food was good at breakfast & dinner & lifeguard Alessandro was really nice & friendly with us.
Apart from lifeguard, we found the other staff average at best, poor at worst. Some staff didn’t even speak when we walked past reception & we couldn’t get any answer to various messages sent before our arrival - not really the way you should treat your guests. Room wasn’t fully cleaned every day - for example, dirty cups left one day. For a 4 star hotel & upgraded room, this was not worth the money we paid. Sorry, but we won’t be back.
Staff were polite and extremely helpful.Rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. Our view to the sea through a line of tall palm trees was quite special.Very nice clean swimming pool. Very nice beach area recommended to us
No iron in bedroom but a steam machine was loaned instead.Breakfast. Few GF options on offer. Sweetened fruit juice and bowls of tinned fruit are rather out of fashion
Charming building, Nice restaurant
Small and dark room
Great location, friendly staff, fabulous pool, amazing breakfasts.
Is a lovely place right next to the beach and close to the centre, we have a very nice stay.
The size of the room was little small for 3 adults and the third bed also
We stayed 5 nights in the end of May 2024. Excellent breakfast! Staff were fantastic, especially the poolman and the staff in the restaurant and breakfastroom. All the staff were very polite and helpful! We loved the room and the balcony with a view to the pool and the sea!
The bed was little bit more hard than we are used to at home, but we got an overmatrass immidiately when we asked for it! Very helpful!
The hotel is in a very good location. Our room with balcony was spacious and we appreciated the air conditioning. The pool area was very good including the towel service. We enjoyed having dinner outside in the evening.
My only negative relates to the coffee machine that did not work well, was slow and the coffee did not taste that great. I felt sorry for the staff who had to deal with it. It’s time for management to sort it out!
Nice location. We enjoyed a recently renovated room with a great view. Personnel is very friendly (special shoutout for the gentlemen who helped with the luggage and the car parking). Pleasant short stay.
Breakfast was quite decent, not much of a choice for 4 star but ok. Few days at the beginning of our stay there was cool honey stand with honeycomb, but then it was gone for good. Pancakes only appear early in the morning and are not refilled. Same with sausages. Pool is nice, but is closed after 19.00. Rooms are spacious. Careful with air conditioning, it tends to break if turned on when the window is open. Very good service at dinner (we had half-board). Special thanks to Antonio from the restaurant, very kind and professional.
Now to downsides. It’s up the hill from the beach. Not far, but this climb was killing me each time. WiFi was only working in the restaurant and reception. On 3d floor you had to find the exact spot, often in the corridor. Cleaning was not done properly. Instead of leaving the airco on (34 degrees outside) they opened the window. Not cool! (Literally). Sand on the floor built up until we mentioned it specifically. Toilet sometimes was just flushed and not washed. Beach. In Italy you have to pay for 2 seats and umbrella obligatory, even if you don’t plan to stay whole day and only swim a wile and go. That I was ready for. But not to the fight each morning because they wanted to charge for kids as well! Communication between hotel managers and beach workers was terrible. And in the end renting a place on the beach through hotel resulted more expensive (!!!) than doing it directly. We booked whole week cheaper, just asking at the closest beach. Worker at Mirasol beach said plainly and clearly: “the price for kids extra is just 6€ per day, you obviously have money, why bother?”That’s actually motto of all tourist service workers in Italy. Rob the tourist as much as you can, legally. Even when we were paying the final bill at the hotel. It’s ok that on half board they charge for drinks. But there was a 153€ fee for something unknown, which as we asked resulted a “mistake” and 180€ (twice!!) as “extra person in the room for 10 days of stay”. Again, just 18€ per day difference, why bother? The thing is, I always book “2 adults 2 kids”. The system doesn’t let me book anyway else. So this was a specially unpleasant surprise. The manager in question is a man in his 60s- unfortunately didn’t quite remember his name, think it’s Mikelle. Not recommending the hotel at all.
A beautiful hotel overlooking the beach with a perfectly clean swimming pool and the hotel was immaculately clean with the friendliest and most helpful staff an amazing outside eating area And great food
Nothing !!
