Extremely clean and well positioned

Lack of parking

The staff was very kind and helpful. They provided excellent restaurant recommendations and were always welcoming. We asked for extra pillows, which were already in the room when we arrived. Lovely hotel. We had one of the best rooms on a corner of the hotel with a large terrace and large windows with a magical view of the sea and headland of Sanremo. Would happily stay there again.

Small elevator, tight

It was clean and comfortable.The reception was open 24 hours, which should be known on the site. They were always accommodating!

Every thing is fine it would be nice to have a Bar but everything is so close that it’s not really necessary

After arriving by train and checking into Hotel sole Mare around seven pm, we went to a nearby restaurant for dinner. After dinner, we were extremely tired so we retired to our room right after dinner, only to hear very loud music coming from what seemed like across the street. This loud music did not end until around 4:30 in the morning. Needless to say, we were unable to sleep until the music stopped. After talking to the hotel attendant, his response was indifference, with an offer to change our room. His response was that he was unaware of any loud music. Once I made the complaint to booking.com's team, his written response stated otherwise as he noted that "although the music had only been an end-of-summer party on the beach, authorized by the municipal authorities (only that evening) and the hotel management did not he was aware.", clearly was not in any way a reasonable answer to try to accommodate our request for a partial discount for our hotel booking charge for our room. The hotel also argued that we were upset that breakfast was not included, when our understanding was that we paid for it. This fact has nothing to do with the issue that our hotel stay was unsatisfactory, given the fact that we were unable to get any sleep on our first night stay. Our request for a partial refund for the cost of our hotel reservation was completely reasonable, but the Hotel Sole Mare's response was that they did not think they could find any solution! Their response was, clearly, unacceptable!

No problems .Unfortunately there was loud music from the beach area until 3 am at the weekend and led to poor sleep.

The hotel reception is on the fourth floor of the building.

Loved the location, size and quaintness of the hotel. Close to restaurants, historic centre, beach. Beautiful view from our balcony.

Bathroom was very tight, could have been a little bigger. Bed was a little too hard for my liking.

Excellent and very central location. Very large room with lovely sea view, super friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend the hotel without hesitation. We had a lovely stay.

The decor of the room was slightly dated but perfectly functional and more than compensated by the lovely view.

The location , ease of checking in

Misleading information on the web site regarding parking , no parking what so ever . Very noisy being so close to a beach bar and a disco lounge

Our request that the other 2 single beds must be a matrimoniale were not granted. Not refilling tissue paper. We also report that the bidet was not functioning well but there’s no respond from the management. No private parking for the hotel (the receptionist must notify the clients about this matter).

Good location close to the water and dining. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There is a place directly across the street for appetizers / drinks. We would stay here again when in San Remo.

Hotel charming overlooking the beach and central to everything. Staff very polite and helpful

We had a lot of noise from flushing toilets and also cleaners speaking outside the room whilst collecting their products and equipment early in the morning.

All the staff were very helpful but Vincent deserves a special mention as he was exceptionally welcoming and helpful.and even managed to sorted out our car parking issue. Rooms were comfortable and everywhere was exceptionally clean. Looking forward to a return visit soon.
