Terrible. Definitely not a 4 star hotel

The hotel is very old. In addition, we were placed in the basement, where it smelled of mold. The description on booking does not correspond to reality. The room was shabby. The bathroom was tiny. The shower was also tiny and leaking. The pillows were terribly uncomfortable.

Great location with an easy walk to the beach and San Remo esplanade.. The reception desk was extremely welcoming. Parking at the hotel was available. The room had a great view of the sea, comfortable bed, AC, clean and good internet. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. Excellent hotel and we would return.

The 2 min walk down the hill to the sea is easy, but the return is not as easy.:)

Still room for improvement. The breakfast was good but chaotic. The room was noisy because of people moving around in the room on the floor above is. That was terrible.

Could not find a Wifi code, Coffee and tea not brillian for breakfast (water was luke warm)

The breakfast, the bar and feel in general was excellent.

The room was very plain and the toilet was so close to the shower nearly impossible to get on. Very clean and was an economy room so maybe that’s why. New rule to pay for car parking ! Totally disagree and found somewhere else

The bed linen was minimal for a 4 star hotel. Also very small towels. They did not cover the quilt / dooner cover with a second sheet so was unsure how clean this was. The second pillows that were stored in the wardrobe were too firm.

After checking in an finding a room that was not yet cleaned from previous guests, I received an upgrade to the 4th floor and the room was really nice. Great bed, bathroom and coffee facilities...

BUT - Extensive building works on site which were not communicated prior to arrival made it a treacherous journey from the car to the lobby. Inside the lobby and reception desk are seriously outdated and some staff were very helpful and friendly but others were very short and did not really want to help... The view is also spoiled by a large new construction in right in front of the hotel... this will take a while.

We had booked a dinner for the evening of Christmas Day which was very expensive and the food provided was inedible , served warm and was tasteless and unpalatable.. we left after 3 courses out of 5 . To the hotels credit The Manager was very receptive and deducted the charges from our bill .. the issue would appear to be a one off ad the chef was provided by an agency for the Christmas period ..

Nice looking building in a lovely location with sea views. We made an error with our booking and the manager was very helpful and understanding.Highly recommend

Location was great.

The man on reception on arrival was one of the rudest people I have experienced. Thought maybe it was just me but he was rude to my friends also. Luckily the lady who was there later in the afternoon was lovely.

Location, cleanliness and hotel common areas

The room looks very nice, but when trying the bed its was pretty stiff, only one pillow was comfortable and there was a constant sewer smell from the bathroom.

The hotel is undergoing some renovations concerning the parking and the kitchen. As such no parking is available in front of the hotel and we were obliged to carry our luggage up to many stairs. The kitchen was out of order and the breakfast room was a total mess.

Location was great but you have to walk up a hill to get to the hotel. The included buffet breakfast was a bonus as was the free car parking.

There is no Porter so you have to carry suitcases and bags up the steps to the hotel. There was a kettle in the room with a few tea bags but no coffee, milk, cups or glasses. There was also no price list for the mini bar. We were only there for the night so it didn’t make any difference but it showed a lack of care in getting the room ready for guests.

Clean, nice sea view, comfortable beds, tasty breakfast with variable food, the personal was friendly and cheerful.
