The Royal Hotel Sanremo is our new favorite hotel. The service was the best we have ever experienced. And even better, the wifi actually worked perfectly which is often not the case with many other hotels. The Royal Hotel Sanremo knows how to do it right...everything was absolutely perfect. I loved the fresh scent that permeates the hotel room. The sea view was spectacular. The sea water pool was so refreshing.

Can't say one bad thing. Our stay was perfect.

The bed and linen were very comfortable.

The room was very small and old. You could see that there were touches of paints in different areas.

Beautiful and well kept property. Great location and the staff was great.

We had an exceptional time at Royal Hotel San Remo. The pool staff and the front desk could not have been better! They were very accommodating to our needs and always went out of their way to please us. The hotel pool was spotless and I loved the salt water! There was more than enough to eat at breakfast as the variety of foods catered to different tastes. We stayed in room 401 and were very happy with the bed and pillows. I am shocked at the negative reviews posted by others as the Royal Hotel exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel that is walking distance to the center of San Remo and steps away from a magnificent pool, then Royal Hotel is the place for you! We will definitely be coming back!

    Everything was perfect

Good location, nice food Very quite and peaceful

The room I was given was extremely small for the money I paid, I decided to change it, so I asked for free upgrade as I am a regular customer of this hotel, but the free up grade was denied, I had to get upgrade on my expense, but surprisingly the room was almost the same size just different design!!

Absolute class. This place feels like old-school luxury but with all the modern comforts. The sea view from the room was epic, and the heated seawater pool is a game-changer. 10/10 would stay again.

    9JonathanPosted on: 4-20-2025

We liked the old style but still in very good condition and the breakfast - and our room faced the sea.

    The bar is too expensive

    8VeronicaPosted on: 4-13-2025

Gym was great, all up to date. The tennis court needs updating. Staff very friendly and efficient. Big rooms.

    Beautiful building.

Very disappointing. Unpleasant atmosphere at the entrance and check in. Room was small but ok.Swimming pool is right next to a noisy street! Difficult to reach the beach and it’s not a nice beach to go swimming.Did not feel like a pleasant stay.

We have stayed in this hotel many times over the years. We love the location and the staff are very nice

They had a renovation not so long ago. But we were very disappointed, as everything is a bit dates and old. Especially the pool, it is actually not a 5 star rate at all. Very old with cement and ceramic tiles coming off.

    2ShepilovPosted on: 10-28-2024

The breakfast was pretty good and the hotel was pretty clean. The location was also good

The hotel withdrew the amount for the stay in advance, but upon arrival I was asked to pay again and they said that the money they withdrew before would be returned to me. Their staff was extremely unhelpful with whatever issues we raised with them. The spa is extremely small for such a big hotel and getting into was a challenge because the hotel makes you play a twisted little game of first come first serve.

    8ChrisPosted on: 10-27-2024

We were greeted by the excellent reception staff who provided a thorough briefing of the facilities of the hotel. We then enjoyed a fantastic massage & all facilities provided in the spa area.Later on in the evening we were spoilt by the professionalism of the lounge/bar staff.

Admittedly, we were a little late down to breakfast but within time limits, however we were met with unbelievable hostility & conduct that I would not expect from a five star hotel. When I finally managed to secure a table, obtain my own cutlery & then sit down to try & enjoy my breakfast, I started to make some observations. I realised that the breakfast staff were considerably younger, inattentive to customer requirements & at times I was unsure as to whether I was actually in a breakfast room or watching mannequins strolling along a modelling catwalk-extremely disappointed.
