History and charm.

Limited parking, tight spaces. Air conditioning not to US standards, but that applied just about everywhere we went (i.e. 75 degree Farenheit)

Omlette for breakfast should be a bit lighter

Breakfast was very good. The staff, in particular the front desk staff, Alessandro and Davida went beyond expectations to help us with our rental car issue. They were extremely responsive and helped us quickly solve the problem. Bar tender was delightful too

It is very clean, staff is excellent, breakfast had a big variety of food.

Hallway carpeting

The stuff was very kind and helpful, very good Location, there is a parking and if you are lucky you find a place. The bed and pillow very good, the view is amazing to the pool and sea..

So, it's oldies but goodies.. In French we say : c'est dans son jus " lot of old style, and maybe they need some repairs..and cleaning I payed a faire price but normaly.. Is between 200-400 euro per night it's way to much..Breakfast it's a cheap meal like a 2 stars ⭐ hotel , and very noisy by the way.. Because of the French people.. ? In a particular way..They proudly annonce 4 stars sorry I'm a little disappointed..

Love it. Perfect location for wandering the beaches of Sanremo. Pool was amazing. Staff is great speak many languages. Breakfast is awesome.

Breakfast takes place in a beautiful historical room, excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Very nice swimming pool area and garden. The location is just perfect, so easy to take a swim in the sea before breakfast and walk to the city to have dinner. We loved our time here. In fact this is our third time staying at this beautiful place. We’ll be back.

Breakfast needs more vegetables, like tomatoes.

It’s old and very clean. The pool is amazing. The view from our room of the ocean was lovely! Breakfast is Buffett. Easy in and out of Sanremo . Staff is helpful they speak many languages.

Parking is interesting.

The room was quite spacious, high ceilings, so the room feels even bigger. Large bathroom as well, very clean. Storage space is also great. Breakfast was good, and the service is amazing, everyone was very friendly and pleasant. We got everything we asked for.

Sunbeds by the pool are paid only, and the space around the pool is very narrow. But the beach is also 5 minutes away so we didn't even need to use the pool.

The breakfast was good. The room was a nice size and clean. The general ambience was shabby chic with the emphasis on shabby. It was approximately 1 mile to downtown which we didn't mind . The pool was large but for the most part deep, no real shallow area except for the walk in areas. The staff was couteous and helpful.

Poor sense of arrival. The hotel has surely seen better days.

Dirty pool - pool sunbeds at eur 10 - pool towels eur 3 - no possibility to check in an hour early or to check out an hour late!

Upgraded but charge us hallway was hot ? and not clean

beautiful well maintained old hotel from a bygone era with very helpful staff in reception and in the restaurant.

the hotel is a good walk from the town centre which could be a problem for disabled visitors.

Great historical hotel in a decent location.

No iron available in the room and not provided when asked! Weird. A bit noisy since location is on the main street.

Just beautiful, perfect position, delicious breakfast and super nice staff.

It was a privilege to sleep in hotel that was build in 1861. Nice rooms with bathroom and balcony. Very nice and tasty breakfast. Professional and kind personnel.We will definitely come back to enjoy again.

Wonderful place with old world charm. Perfect location, minutes from the city centre and across the road from the water promenade

Everything was wonderful

Great breakfast. On some days we took the breakfast to go. Pleasant atmosphere in the lobby. Fresh flowers. Very nice service. They speak french, english and german. The location is just owsome. Lots of parking space.

The hotel is getting old. The facilities need some care. And yes, this was the first 5-star hotel in Sanremo.
