Hotel Villa Maria

They pay attention on the details, very clean, the breakfast was a very good buffet with the staff serving you the food, that is nice because guests do not disorganize the food. Location was very good too.

Wonderful staff. Very nice breakfast and breakfast garden. Very quiet, and 3 minute walk to the centre of town.

Great hotel with very friendly people. The furniture might need some upgrade, wifi could be quicker however all these weaker points are beated by the very friendly italian atmoshpere and lovely people working at the hotel!

Breakfast buffet was served, was a litte weird and the guest felt observed. The toilet did not stop running the water.

I really enjoyed stay in Villa Maria, I simply liked it, and would choose it again, because it is stylish and old fasioned, quiet, very clean and centraly located near Russian church. Breakfast was very nice, especialy my favourite desert "torta de la nonna", served in the garden by kind personel.

In my room the wifi connection was very bad, with interruptions.

Warm welcome, nice spacious room, elevator, room AC, mini fridge, ample breakfast in the garden, parking, proximity to the old town center.

There were no negatives during our stay.

The cheaper rooms are a bit noisy at times but get quiet between 2200 and 0700h.

A bit odd not to be able to help ourselves to open buffet breakfast but we were required to stand behind a rope and to ask the staff to serve us what we wanted. The decor could have been updated especially in the entrance area.

The cleanliness in every single corner although it is an old property

A minor thing, bidée was surprisingly not clean when we took the room. Breakfast area was neat and adorable only savory options were not many and omelette was served cold.

Villa Maria is located adjacent to the main street, within walking distance of the center and beach. A great advantage compared to most properties in San Remo is the private parking right at the villa. The entire ensemble of buildings is old and cozy, with vintage furniture in the lobbies. The house has an elevator. The room was big, with a modern bathroom, working AC, flat TV and fridge (a bit noisy at night). Enough power outlets (as almost everywhere in Italy, consider having at hand an adapter for large plugs! However, the receptionist was so kind to offer me one).The breakfast was included, with nice Italian coffee (Espresso, Cappuccino etc), beverages, eggs, ham, cheese, nice pastry, and fruits, served in the garden. A big thumbs up for the service and staff, very helpful and friendly. Overall, excellent value for the money. We stayed for two nights and were very pleased.

The mattress was a bit too elastic and squeaky.

The lawn in front of the hotel was very nice. The interior of the building was quite fascinating.

It was uncomfortably hot in the room, even at night, despite the working fan. Breakfast included mostly sweet things and fruits, some vegetables / fried eggs / larger meat selection would be much appreciated.

Fantastic breakfast - about 8 different types of fresh fruit and the typical Italian cakes and pastries. Helpful staff.

No 24 hour front desk which is always a small concern

I like this old atmosphere of Villa Maria. Tasty breakfasts, super comfertable lovation of hotel. Its near bay. We were very grateful that personal was waiting for our chick in as we got to hotel later than ordinary chick in.

The location is very good, the room size is quite good, the staff is very nice and always smiling. The furniture and everything in the hotel takes you back in time but I find it quite charming

The entire feeling of the hotel is quite old, it needs some renovation works

Almost nothing. Only the shower a bit small and with no place to put soap/shampoo. The bed ok but the mattress could be better.
