ibis Lyon North

Perfect for a great value autoroute stopover. Get out early next morning and beat the Lyon queues.Basic but very nice. This is my 4th time staying. Likely will stay on the way home this trip as well.

We have stayed here many times and always found the hotel comfortable.

Breakfast was poor on this occasion, nothing was replenished, I had to put coffee in a juice glass. Not their usual standard. Also Christmas records being played both at dinner and breakfast.

Fantastic place, especially when you have a dog. Gave us a room with a door that leads to an outside garden space, handy when you have to get up in the middle of the night to let your dog out. Restaurant was brilliant as well, again could bring our dog in and have a lovely meal. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Thanks You.

I believe that Ibis is the perfect hotel if you are just travelling with the car and want to get some rest in between.The room was small but overall clean.The location was very convenient to us.Loved the fact that they accept pets :)

At the check in counter, initially they couldnt find my booking. I was asked many times if Im sure that I booked with them and not to another Ibis in Lyon. That was a bit frustrating as it was very late (around 1am) and we were afraid that maybe the reservation didnt go through. Anyway, after a while they managed to find the booking. Maybe there was a glitch in their system.The pillows were somewhat uncomfortable and hard. They seemed old. I would suggest to change them :)

The Breakfast was good

The parking is not safe at all !!! When we wanted to leave in the morning on Sunday 18/06/2023 and arrived at our trailer our motorbike was stolen. and we fixed the moterbike on the trailer with a chain. The gate is open a lot for people who come to eat in the restaurant or they just open the gate without checking.The receptionist just helped us to call the police, he didn't help us further, his answer was, i don't know i didn't work at night.Be careful when you park there !!

An easy check in. My French is awful but the staff spoke excellent English. My motorcycle was safe inside a gated parking area. The reception was manned 24hrs.

No full English breakfast. ONLY JOKING. Everything was good. I have no complaints.

Room was a bit stuffy but opened window to air it. It could be difficult doing that in the winter.
