The room is very well laid out to make the most of the square footage and the loft was quite separate, which made for a good experience for us and our adult daughter.

Room cleanliness, the floor was kinda dirty and overall not a great room with broken things, basically the bare minimum is done but that's it.

Great location, super helpful staff, affordable prices. We had a really lovely time

I just have a few suggestions that could improve the experience.A closet with shelves and a coat hanger would be nice. Also, adding some eggs (boiled or omelette) to the breakfast would be great. We did have a great time there and we'll come back for sure!

Good location for who needs to be around Lyon area, and not have to go downtown to have a place to sleep.

The room was very badly insulated. Might be different between rooms, but ours was so cold that we had to use towels to block the cold air coming from the main door... Heating system is ridiculously old as well and not very efficient, as window and door let cold air coming in. The room interiors are old, and don't smell healthy air. This is a very important point especially during cold seasons.

Location was ok. Staff were friendly

The room was so noisy we got under 1hr sleep. Part of the noise came from people walking above our room which sadly is under a public walkway banging and floorboards creaking all night. The cleanliness of the room was very poor with cobwebs, pubic hairs in the toilet, hairs on the shower wall, hairs on the fold down shower seat, sticky stuff on the table, sticky unusable shower gel dispensers. There were rusting pipes. My bedsheet had a hole in it. The air conditioning unit made an awful liquid dripping sound on and off all night. The general up keep of the room also left a lot to be desired. The tv for example had wires hanging. Also I am paralysed so in a wheelchair and the room was setup so I could not access the toilet due to table and chair blocking the path do we had to move furniture around. Absolutely no heating in the bathroom so it was absolutely freezing, couldn’t even leave the door open from the room as no blind on the window and it was so cold. Smell of cigarettes in roomI would like to request a full refund as this was completely unacceptable.

Comfortable and good value for money.

I'm a non-smoker but there was terrible cigarette smell in the room.

Nice setting, lots of green. Very quiet, comfortable bed. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast, well worth having. We'll make this our stop for travelling between Spain and Germany from now on.

Couldn't get WiFi from the room. I had to go near the reception area..

Convenient for the motorway, good location for restaurants. Breakfast very good. Staff very helpful. Newly decorated room.

Garden area scruffy

the location was just what we wanted, we were passing through Lyon to go South. So just a stopover.Breakfast pleasant, very fresh bread, that was lovely. Room very small, bathroom even smaller, but clean and quiet.

Staff seemed to be a bit busy with other stuff, or talking amongst eachother. Checking in guests seemed to be secondary.

Convenient location for travelers to spend the night on the road.Quite clean in the room. Comfortable mattress.Very nice staff at the reception.Breakfast was quite varied.

The room was completely unprepared for guests to move in:- the lock bar of the front door was broken, I had to straighten it with my hands to be able to close the door,- the sink drain in the bathroom did not work, the water did not drain even through the overflow hole,- where our room was located (201), there was no Internet at all.

Well located from the highway, friendly receptionist, good price for one night / stop over

Motel type, looks a bit old and rusty, basic service in the room but overall alright. Deep dive cleaning in the bathroom would help as mold traces were apparent on joints

Everything is dirty, it smells bad in the rooms, old furniture and very small.

So poor, I should have just left. I've stayed at Brit Hotels a few times and have been very pleased. Based on this experience, I will now avoid the brand.

The grounds are overgrown and covered with litter, the room I had was very tired, the AC was not controllable, and some lights were not working. I felt very uncomfortable and unsettled in this block house accommodation.

Extremely Disappointed: Double Charged and No Resolution in Sight!

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Brit Hotel, and I must say, it was a complete letdown. Not only did they charge me twice for my stay, but their lack of urgency and disregard for customer satisfaction has left me extremely frustrated.Upon discovering the double charge, I immediately brought it to the attention of the hotel staff. They assured me that the issue would be rectified promptly, with the money being transferred back to my account the very next day. However, it has been over three weeks, and despite numerous emails and messages, the refund has yet to materialize.The lack of communication and failure to resolve this matter in a timely manner is unacceptable.

Beds comfortable. Bathroom clean. There is free parking

Bathroom and room very small, although clean. This is a motel, when you leave your room you are outside. Only 2 electrical outlets in the room, both by the table

It was a bit run down grass needed cutting and outside areas need attention

I had to go to the reception to get access to my room about 5 times in one night

Hotel in good location. Restaurants near by. Room small but adequate. Bed large double and comfy. Breakfast help yourself and plenty of choice.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Very affordable accommodation. Everything was in working condition. The room itself and the bedding was clean. Situated in a nice, peaceful area. Bus stop about 100m from the property. All in all, considering the price, it's quite a pleasant accommodation.

The general area on the property outside the rooms could be a little cleaner. Our room didn't have a standing shower, only a bathtub. The room and the bathroom are tiny but functional.
