Room was spacious and clean.

Car Parking was very tight spaces to maneuver your car between the concrete columns. Breakfast was very poor quality and options.

The hotel is perfectly located in the city center, offering stunning sea views and easy access to the beach and main attractions. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the apartment was clean, spacious, and well-equipped.

Nothing to be disliked

This place is very close to beach and we had sea facing room booked. The view was breathtaking from our room. You have almost everything at walking distance. It is also close to Tangier train station, however it is not close to airport. We only stayed for 1 night and it was worth it. The morning breakfast had good variety and they make omelettes on demand as well ?

One of the elevators was in maintenance so it was long wait time for going up or down. Apart from this everything else was perfect.

Everything was amazing!!! The room had a huge balcony with an extraordinary view over the beach. The breakfast was simple but delicious, just try the msemen! The staff was so nice and warm. Loved this place!

Well the location is great, the room was clean and spacious

First of all, the person in the reception was rude and was asking for illegal documents, he asked us for our marriage certificate while it is illegal to ask in the Moroccan law as part of personal privacy. On top of that he could have just read in our IDs that we were married to each other (our IDs literally have the name of the spouse). He insisted until I told him that I could sue him for what he was asking and that if he's not happy he could call the police.The room had no drinking water not even paid one, no kettle, no coffee or tea

Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff gave us an ocean view on check in as they had availability and we were here before peak season.

Google translate was needed to communicate with some hotel staff. This was just because we did not speak Arabic.

This hotel was a complete disappointment. The reception staff and all employees were excellent—friendly and professional—but that’s where the good experience ended.Nobody informed us that the hotel was undergoing construction. On our first morning, we woke up to an absolute nightmare—loud drilling, hammering, and things being broken right next to our room. It was impossible to sleep or have any peace. If we had known about this in advance, we would have never stayed here.A hotel’s main purpose is to provide a place for guests to relax and rest, but this was the opposite. Management should have warned us about the construction, but instead, we were left with no choice but to suffer through it. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay, avoid this hotel at all costs.

Location is very good, overlooking the beach yet in walking distance from the train station. Staff was good, esp. the lady at check-in. Breakfast was better than expected.

Very polite and professional staff. Very clean and comfortable. Good heating. Superb views of the sea and city. Secure covered parking. Good Wi-Fi. Convenient for restaurants and cafes.

Hands down, everyone coming to Tangier should try staying in this hotel. Have travelled to 20 countries but this hotel is one of the best i have lived. The breakfast was awwesome with so many varieties, the location is right next to the sea and the main road, very clean, rooms are huge with top notch facilities. Calm peaceful environment. Highly recommended to everyone planning to visit Tangier.

Lack of privacy. The cleaner entered my room after just a single knock. This is unacceptable. They do not have an internal lock or a do not disturb sign.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rio in Tangier!
