A wonderful basic hotel with good secure access in a safe area, within good proximity to the beach and Centro Storico of Albenga

The location is perfect - it is near the station and city centre is also close. It is really quiet in there - not so many rooms and we were lucky with neighbours. The room is bright and cozy. We had enough space. There was kettle and tea bags in the room, as well as glasses. The ladies that work there are so friendly and welcoming nice, even though they don't speak English and we Italian - we managed to communicate and understand each other. The local cafe where the breakfast was served is just amazing. We are still remembering that morning Italian capuchino and croissants with pistachios. There is also a good Gelateria in the same building with apartments.

The only thing is that there is no reception in the hotel, but we were contacted in regard to that fact beforehand. So we could get our time planned before the time of check-in.

Excellent location - 1 minute walk from the train station. Superb value room. Felt safe. Was clean and had a kettle, tea, coffee etc. Small balcony to catch some fresh air. Breakfast was served at a friendly bar opposite the station - we chose a croissant and 2 coffees each from within our allowance - just perfect!

The residence is located in a street without a name and only when you look closely at the apartment names do you see the Hotel advertised. A little better signage would be helpful.

It was clean, was extremely good value for the price, tea in the room, and breakfast in the cafe next door included.

The hotel manager was flexible in delivering the key to the location (reception is at a different place). Nice bar for breakfast.

Ventilation in the bathroom did not entirely work (which is annoying since there was no window) and the water pressure was so low that flushing the toilet barely worked (you had to pour water into the loo to flush properly!).

Definitely recommended for those looking for a simple, nice place to stay. Walking distance to all one needs for a fine holiday all‘italiana: beach, bars, restaurants and cultural events on the airy coast or charming old town. Breakfast at Bar Matteotti to start the day. Very friendly and welcoming staff!

The room was a good size and kept very clean. The location was ideal for my visit as it meant I didn't have to walk too far.

The bed was not very comfortable. The shower cubicle was too small.

very hard to find as it isn’t a hotel. it’s an apartment with individually let rooms - and the only sign you are in the right place is a name amongst a list of bells for the block. which is fine if you know that’s what you’re looking for. no one answered the bell and I had to phone the number in the email and wait for a very nice chap to come with the key. it was lucky someone in a nearby cafe new it as I would never have found it. also the shower cubicle is very small. water good and hot though.
