    Pros +

    • Friendly, immaculately clean and ideally placed for visiting Cancale and surrounding area.
    • Great hotel, lovely staff, really helped me out with after hours check in, comfy beds, sizable bathroom!
    • The friendly staff. Very helpful. The room modern and clean

    Cons -

    • No in room refreshments. Eg. Kettle for tea.The toilet seat broke as soon as we opened. This was fixed the next day. Pillows were too thin, so I had to ask for another. Very warm during the hot months.Expensive breakfast for more or less just bread.
    • The hotel was much more outdated than it looked in the photos and the carpet was quite stained. It was very far from Cancale and there was no food available in the restaurant.
    • WiFi was very slow.

The room was comfortable and had clean towels and a clean bathroom. Check-in was straightforward and the room was very quiet.

Comfortable clean room, we did not take breakfast. Would recommend this hotel plenty of parking and roof top terrace very nice

    8HanPosted on: 7-22-2024

Rooms and breakfast are fine. Ample parking space.

    WiFi was very slow.

    4RebekkaPosted on: 7-20-2024

It was clean and the location is exactly what I wanted.

Dog owners avoid - they are dog tolerant (for 12€ a day) BUT not actually dog welcoming. once I had paid everything, I was informed that you could not leave your dog in your room alone. Ever. Not even 5 minutes. I have never heard of something like this. They said that because in the past dogs have barked… all this while their dog is barking at reception when it is left alone. I was a solo traveler with my dog, my dog is 100% used to apartments and hotels she doesn’t know - it ruined my trip as my dog doesn’t like going to terraces/restaurants, so I had to eat in my room. It ruined my trip because I couldn’t even go to a beach during the day because dogs are not allowed between 10 am and 7pm.

Clean, helpful staff good location would recommend

    8MelaniePosted on: 5-30-2024

Staff very helpful, breakfast very good, and room and bathroom small but well designed.

Only one extra pillow available for a double room. Kettle would be good.

    10MelaniePosted on: 5-13-2024

Rooms are well designed, bathroom space good, beds very comfortable, very good value for money, easy to park our car, staff very friendly and helpful.

Would have liked two additional pillows rather than one in the room.

Clean, warm and free parking. It's a budget hotel so expectations weren't high.

Tight on space, especially in our shower room, but it served a purpose. Why do hotels only supply one spare pillow? Why not just out 4 pillows in a double room?

Very clean. I’d say, perfectly clean, I didn’t see any spot which would trigger me. 10/10The stuff is very friendly and helpful.Everything essential is available. We could see some dogs, pet-friendly place cheers up!We weren’t bothered by any noise, while we saw many people during our stay, so I suppose the isolation is good.Free parking, no problems with places.Supermarket is very close to the hotel. The microwave is available till 21h00. Also it’s possible to take some plates/forks/glasses from the cantine if needed.

Breakfasts are quite poor. I think it’s just a french cultural issue, but if you’re more into Eastern Europe/Turkey breakfasts - better find another place to eat. It’s not expensive, but isn’t worth even those 11,5€.As a couple, we were not excited about two beds moved together instead of one whole bed. Having a gap between 2 mattresses under the only thin bedsheet - not cool.I’m a bit spoiled by rooms opened by cards, so I was a bit surprised to have an actual key with a huge wooden keychain which takes so much space in a handbag when you try to walk with a minimum of things. But that’s just me. But really, it can be just a card. Or at least a small keychain.

The room was clean and nicely decorated, the parking was good and only a 20 minute walk to the Port, I found a path on my phone which went through fields and led to a flight of stairs coming out between the restaurants on the pier.

I checked in early (3.30pm) to use the 'Spa' what a waste of time. Just a sauna that was closed and a bubble massage table which didn't look very exciting. I should have read the small print on the booking which does state this, but you are paying a hotel with a spa rate, which is a bit misleading.

    Passable

Too expensive for what it was. Ask for a family room and ended up with two rooms.

    10JackiePosted on: 7-23-2023

Great location walking distance from shops and harbour.Large room and very clean. Good varied breakfast and smiley and helpful staff.

    8DeniszestPosted on: 7-14-2023

Good value for money. Clean room. Not so far from the center with very good boulangery (bakery) nearby.

No air conditioning so it can be hot during summer Don't expect the stuff to speak English even if the sign Says they Do?

    7MarkPosted on: 7-7-2023

Good clean comfortable hotel, very friendly and helpful staff.

    A bit soul-less.

    4PedroPosted on: 6-6-2023

    We had no breakfast

Room and bed were quite small. Electric outlets only two on the desk but, one was for tv. Lamps, at bed "side" on the wall 1,2 m high had one single switch for both. In the bathroom both toilet paper were half spent. The towels heating system had the rheostat hanging by the electrical wires. The shower in a corner, size was very small with no curtains at all and just a glass fixed protection around 13 cm width so it was an adventure to take a shower without splitting water all over. The first night when we got back from dinner three youngsters were having a picnic on the floor at the end of the hall that last till 23:00.Second night there was a bus and the number raised around 15 fold and lasted till midnight. After 20:00 you could not use lift becase access was bloked in a private area. Outside eveything seemed not to be in the best situation with lots of broken tiles around the pathways.

    Nice shower

A bit too old. The room door was very thin so we so we could hear all the noises from the corridor.Too expensive for the type of hotel.

Lovely comfortable room, with a super breakfast.

The town of Cancale is very touristic town and someway from the hotel. It is extremely difficult to park for an evening meal.Would be good to have a restaurant in the hotel
