Pros +
- Location
- Amazing sea view. Comfortable bed. Perfect location. Family room ideal with the kids bed in the mezzanine
- La Mere Champlain was a woderful choice. We loved walking to the oyster market and watching the tide rise and fall. We had the best dinner at the resturant, highly recommended!
Cons -
- Building maintenance as moisture around the window.
- We loved everything If I had to say one tiny thing it would simply be that the stairs creeked a little upon sneaking in after a cocktail. Honestly is was cute though.
- A lot of importance is given to the restaurant the entrance of the hotel is not significant or special

Friendly staff. Such a relaxing place with beautiful view. The owner greets you and makes you feel special. Excellent
Beautiful location
A lot of importance is given to the restaurant the entrance of the hotel is not significant or special
Closeness to the beach Old fashion flair Friendly welcome Lovely little town
Our room was lovely Our sons ‘s bedroom had a poor view The visit of some notability seemed to take everyone ‘a attention The two Vat taxes were twice (10%and 20%) more than in another restaurant in Paris (5%and 10% ) ??????? There must be some good reason
Well situated! Room had a great view
Parking is an issue
Great location easy parking and lovely restaurant
Great locationGood restaurant Good elevator which is rare in an older hotel
No coffee/ tea making
Great location for us. Close to parking and our favourite restaurant. Lovely views. Lift is now essential for us. Great breakfast.
Next time I shall bring my own pillow as the hotel pillows are too soft for me. Would be nice to have a kettle in the room so we can make a cup of tea! (We would bring our own tea bags and milk)It’s an English Thing!!!
The location of the hotel was superb, right by the beach. The person who checked us in was very nice and helpful with information.
The lady at hotel restaurant for breakfast wasn't friendly.
Great view. Excellent restaurant.
Bedding could be better. Breakfast could offer more savory options like self- boiled eggs.
Friendly staff. On seafront.
Price. I booked a garden (?) view double room online at €94 per night for 2 nights, as sea view rooms were, of course, more expensive. On arrival there was a large blackboard outside offering sea view rooms for €72 per night. I thought maybe the the price I had been charged included breakfast. How wrong was I. Breakfast was charged at €12.50 pp per day.No parking. The closest car park was only free of charge between 10pm and 10am.Size of room. I found the double room very small.Garden room ? What garden! I had a view of the kitchen rooftop. If I put my head out of the window I could see a terrace.State of bathroom. Mouldy grout on tiles. Chipped tile on step to shower. Blistering paint on bathroom door.In my view room could do with a deep clean. Glass light shades dirty. And renovated. Old, worn furniture . The room was very bland with no character.
Best value for quality dinner on our 18 days of travel. Sole Meuniere was flat out outstanding. Great balcony to view sunset.
Nothing comes to mind
Fabulous plateau de fruits de mer in restaurant. Very friendly and helpful lady on reception. Great location and pretty town rammed with restaurants
One slightly unfriendly waiter
Very lovely hotel, a little dated, however, for the price very good value. Very clean and comfortable. Staff really nice and friendly. Amazing food in the restaurant and very recommended
Excellent location. Great staff and restaurant
Rooms are a bit dated and bathroom small.
Restaurant - atmosphere and views
Parking a real problem! An inevitable added cost and a real difficulty at the weekend finding a spot within walking distance of the hotel.
Location, restaurant
Too costly at Eu 150 per room albeit sea view
Loved position, restaurant and our big light and airy bedroom. Had a friendly welcome despite everyone still busy serving lunch. Very good breakfast.
