About

Ideally located in the harbor of Cancale, Le Querrien is 29 mi from the Mont Saint-Michel. It offers a restaurant and free Wi-Fi access. Recently renovated, Le Querrien offers comfortable rooms combining a navy-inspired decoration and a modern elegance. The rooms offer a view of the Mont Saint-Michel or the narrow streets of the fishermen village. With a view of the sea and a terrace, the hotel’s restaurant serves seafood and fish specialties in a boat decor, to make you go back to the time of corsairs. Pros +

    • Convenience to the town. Comfortable bed..
    • Great location. Nice sized room with good bed and pillows.
    • Location.

    Cons -

    • Our arrival was awful. The town was very busy and we couldn't find the hotel parking. . If we'd had been given instructions via booking .com then that would have been a help. As it was we learned that we had to go to reception to get directions to the parking however there was nowhere to park the car while we gid this. The public car parks were full. Eventually we found a disabled parking spot and because I qualify for this we pulled in there and made our way to reception.. Then she drew a map and explained to my husband how to get to this hotel parking Such an awful experience when tired and needing to get checked in. We also had to pay for parking . This we found strange.
    • Room a bit small. Breakfast limited options.com
    • it's more of a restaurant with rooms. management not that friendly. room was small no view. the front sea view rooms probably much nicer.

Excellent location, friendly staff and plenty of room in our duplex for our family of four. Fantastic sea view. We hope to return.

Stayed in a family room in the main hotel/resto. Nicely done, comfortable and warm despite February weather. Good buffet breakfast. Easy to park on the street outside.

breakfast buffet was good, room was clean .

Great location right in the town ans right by car parking. Staff were all very friendly, rooms clean and comfy beds.

    9JohnPosted on: 1-1-2025

Friendly and helpful staff, seafront location, sea view room, bathroom, great sea food restaurant ( best to book ), the town itself ( we arrived on a chilly Sunday in late December and could not believe how busy it was or the large number of packed restaurants and bars).

Nothing really but beware parking can be a problem. There are large car parks but we were so lucky to grab the one available space in the car park across the road from the hotel.

Very warm welcome. Dinners were excellent. Plenty of choices at breakfast. Private parking arranged. Brilliant position in Cancale. We thought we had made a great choice of hotel and will certainly return.

Great location, good breakfast, seafaring décor was nice

    Room a bit compact

    9MichaelPosted on: 9-7-2024

Right on the sea front was ideal for our needs. The room was small but perfectly suited to our requirements. Staff were helpful, informative and friendly.Room was well equipped with tea/ coffee making but needs to be put in information as we carried our own unnecessarily.

3 flights of stairs were a slight drawback following a hip replacement fairly recently. No assistance was offered with luggage. The reception area lets the whole hotel down. The hotel has had a recent renovation and was very well done to an excellent appearance. The carpet in reception was worn through and very tatty and did not portray the smartness of the rest of the hotel. As the first place you come to on arrival it gave a very incorrect image of the establishment.

This is not the first time our family has stayed at this hotel. Many thanks to the staff for going out of their way to change the check-in date! Very clean room, comfortable mattress and pillows, which was very helpful after a long walk! Nice restaurant in the hotel. Thank you, hope to come back next year!

    9FilippoPosted on: 7-22-2024

the guesthouse/restaurant is a cosy building right on the seafront of Cancale and it embodies its charme: restaurant colese at 10-ish so no fuss from patrons after that timewe were lucky enough to be accomodated in the "Libertè" room, a duplex unit very comfortbale for a family of 4, with large shower, separate toilet, a tiny living room a bedroom with very large bed and fantastic upper level with two single beds.Off street parking available and very quiet all night even though we stayed there in full summer season definetly exceeded our expectations

    6AndrewPosted on: 7-8-2024

Great location, tired room but ok, good breakfast

The rooms were next door, which weren't ready when we arrived (20 min wait) the bike store was somewhere else in a shed in someones garden - they lost the code for the lock on departure so I had to crack the code. There was no hot water in the morning.

    8ElainePosted on: 7-4-2024

Central , sea view , parking

    9BillPosted on: 6-30-2024

The room was furnished very well and represented the seagoing nature of Cancale. The food was excellent - both dinner and breakfast

The hotel and restaurant were really good Parking was a bit of a challenge

    5PaulPosted on: 6-22-2024

I liked the location, near the center of the town and in front of the sea !

The staff was not really welcoming. The way of speaking was brutal of one of the man.

    8SheilaPosted on: 6-19-2024

All staff friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and food was excellent. Lovely seafood platter. Breakfast good too. Room good, although no sea view but we knew that before we arrived. Spacious and very clean. Well equipped with minibar (although we didn't use) bathroom extras included bath robes. Paid extra for private parking (off site) felt it was worth it as it is a busy tourist area with lots of vehicles coming and going.

Nothing all facilities met or exceeded our expectations.
