    Pros +

    • First of all -the stuff people at reception are very nice and welcoming!!!I liked the pool everything is sparklingly clean
    • Quiet location with parking and a pool.
    • Fantastic little apartment perfect for our cycle trip

    Cons -

    • Well, there is no hot water in the evening! It happened twice to us and off cause we didn't like it.Also, the whole place is very very small, I wouldn't recommend it to family of 5-6 people
    • It had a terrible layout - only one bathroom under the stairs in a closet with no sink downstairs except the kitchen sink and you had to go up stairs to wash your hands. Also there was no toilet upstairs only a sink, shower and tub. Also the pictures and reality were very different. The property was advertised as a cottage for up to four adults, it only had one pullout couch in the kitchen you had barely enough room to open the front door when it was out and two single beds pushed together upstairs. Also the only table had no room in the house and the outside patio table was dirty.
    • Mould in the swimming pool dirty so did not use hate to think what you could catch. Get this sorted for top marks

Location was good and our accommodation too. Nice to have a heated pool and sauna as the weather was changeable. A very comfortable cottage.

Cosy house, quiet, good pool complex

The location is slightly remote from the town centre, but we enjoyed the 20 min walk. The little house can host 4 people and had been equipped with all things needed for cooking. some cleaning products could come in handy sinceis a self-catering accommodation. loved the pool and the saunas . water was warm enough, and the jacuzzi features pleased the kids extremely . Cancale is a very nice place glad it is not too popular .

It was the only option we could find in the right area with room for 5 of us at the right price range. The house was one of their smaller ones - the bedrooms were good size and beds were comfier than average. Good sitting space in the lounge and nice little outdoor garden area although we couldn't really use it because it was raining. Drip coffee machine with reusable filter was goodThe pool was a little tired looking but it was still really fun and the kids loved itThe option to order pastries in the mornings was very convenientThe staff were all very friendly

The kitchen was small and not very practical as you had to buy even washing up sponge and liquid and there wasn't even a tea towel to dry hands. The upstairs toilet was the smallest toilet I've ever used - I couldn't pull up my trousers without opening the door! The upstairs bathroom didn't have a shower curtain so showering got the whole room wet

    Location, swimming pool.

House too small for six people, we rented second one. Inventory modest.

    Not much

The house was terrible and extremely small for our family. We booked a house for 2 adults and 2 teenagers and we got a very small house, with only one bedroom and a fold-out couch in the living room/kitchen. There was only 1 toilet and that was downstairs. Thank goodness we only stayed 2 nights. Never again. It was very expensive. The pool was smaller and older than expected. There was no store; just 4 shelves. It all gave a very run down feeling.

Le Village Cancalais is well kept, people were friendly and we loved the area. Bike to St Malo, Le Mont San Michele and Cancale. We had very good food in the plenty restaurants and great days with exploring the sites. All was clean and I think if you dont mind small spaces and are maybe two people its a recommendation.

The concept of the small houses is nice. All was clean and appropriatly equiped. We were not happy as it was much too small for us. the bedroom upstairs had no space to leave the luggage for two people not to mention we were 3 (11 year old kid). Our son had to sleep on the sofa downstairs. That means one comes into the door and falls into the opened sleeping sofa. Luggage had to be on the little dining table. So no way we could eat in the house.

The concept is a good one: self catering cottages close to Cancale. The swimming pool was a real bonus. There is a small shop on site for essentials and you can order fresh bread for the morning. The staff I encountered were all friendly.

The issue was comfort. The space is very limited for the number of people. The rooms are very small. We had a ‘4 bed’ cottage but really it would only work well for two. The other two must share an uncomfortable sofa bed with creaking springs ! It is also hard We called it ‘the rack’ as in the Spanish Inquisition! The rack is in a combined kitchen diner so I would not encourage ‘smelly’ cooking. Also the WC is under the stairs also near the rack and the kitchen ! Quite simply it is too small an area for 4 people and not so well designed. The wifi was weak.

Swimming pool was in very bad condition, booked 3 rooms and we get only one room, bed and sofa, bad property not clean very expensive

Cute house with garden, nice pool, nice beds.

The kitchen was a bit worn out (the bathroom had been renewed). I didn’t knew we had to bring our own soap and dishwasdeterget so we had to buy it.

Good living room with small kitchen but for make dinner was good, all was clean and good

In our cottage third room with 2floor bed was in my opinion not as room, but more like corridor, but understood that place is that is and have one more place to sleep. This was not a negative but more like strange review.

It was clean, basic but served it’s purpose

It was quite basic and a bit lifeless but comfortable enough

    clean , comfortable and accessible

Free wifi as advertised. But the availability of the wifi is very bad.We have to asked someone to help as logged in into the wifi access. We thanked the staff who helped us get the access. But on our first day.We had no wifi at all.It should have been a perfect stay.

We had a 3 night stay and everything was great. The 1bedroom house had everything that we could have asked for in terms of what our 3 person family needed. We had an after hours check in and we received very clear instructions so that made everything easy.We stayed in 121, there was a lovely little outside private decked area great for star gazing and evening drinks. The proximity to the pool was very convenient, our 3yr old son loved it and didnt want to leave! We were lucky to arrive just as school holidays finished so we had the place almost to ourselves. The facilities and temperature of the pool was fabulous.Great communication with reception, additional towels were waiting for us when we got there. It wasn't a problem to borrow an iron when needed, also they had useful tips about markets in the local area so don't be afraid to ask for a tip or two.

The sofa bed mattress was quite squeeky. It's a shame there wasn't a cafe area open to have a nice morning coffee. The flaps between indoor and outdoor pools could do with a deep clean.

It was clean but incredibly basic and very unwelcoming! It was also a long way from town! The name implied that it was part of the town!

It was extremely expensive and we had to pay 7 euros extra for towels! There was nothing at all in the apartment apart from linen! We had to purchase cleaning products just to wash dishes! It is one of the worst places that we have ever stayed in through booking.com and I would not recommend it to anyone! The staff were brash and business like and not all welcoming
