Lovely setting, beautiful hotel, very tastefully done. Staff were amazing. Very clean and everything we could possibly need.

The staff were incredibly helpful & warm. Nothing was an inconvenience! The food was very good & enjoyed the breakfast, lunch & dinner menu. Our room was spotless & cleaned everyday. Would highly recommend. We were perfectly located as it was nice & quiet but very close to everywhere you’d want to explore.

Pretty hotel, beautifully decorated.Lovely outdoor space.Rural location but with easy access of other areas.

Due to window size rooms could be stuffy.A lot of wasps around the seating area outside.

Quiet, friendly atmosphere and relaxing , excellent food and comfortable room , bed and pillows good, ample car parking and very good service throughout.

Summer heat made the room quite warm, but the fans provided were okay and kept the room cooler over night

The staff, the facilities and the location were exceptional!!!! Nothing was too much trouble. And they made our dog Hector feel just as welcome. Everything was beyond our expectations.

Rooms were very warm. We did have exceptionally hot weather but it might be worth considering air conditioning in the rooms.

Quiet place in the middle of the country . Room ready on our arrival with refreshments and home made biscuits in cookie jar !!Good choice on breakfast menu from continental to cooked including haddock and poached egg ! 2 eateries in the evening with bar food or restaurant. Hotel furnishings giving country theme. All staff friendly and attentive.Large room for private party and easy access car park.

Small swimming pool . Although served by 2 bus routes there is no bus stop near the hotel allow 10 -20 mins to walk to nearest bus route ( up / down hill) or flat on another route . Although known for good quality foods had frozen peas with fish and chips supper !!

The hotel staff could not do enough for us.Ground floor Garden view rooms are a mustFood was beautiful - That's whether you have the bar menu or a la carte15 minutes to St Helier, so in a nice quiet locationRose on reception - We need to clone her, and all hotels should have their own "Rose"

All the meals we had at the hotel were excellent; delicious and well presented. All the staff were very friendly and professional so the stay felt very relaxed and the two individual requests we had were accommodated with no problem at all. The situation of the hotel was perfect and we were able to do everything we had planned and more.

There was absolutely nothing that we didn’t like and I can’t think of anything that could have been done better. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we would highly recommend it to others.

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful hospitality, we truly felt at home, and our cat Leo did too. Every detail of our stay was lovely, and we couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming place. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and are already looking forward to coming back.

We arrived at the property early and the staff were happy to allow us to go to our room that was already made up. Rooms were spacious, clean and well presented. Bed was very comfortable and radiator was powerful which was needed for a winter stay. The staff were very friendly and were always there if you needed anything. Excellent breakfast in a beautiful dining room. Complementary chocolate by the tea/coffee facilities in the room was a nice touch. Overall, this traditional country hotel was fantastic, everything was of high standards and we would stay again.
