Hotel de la Placette Barcelonnette

The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. There was secure garage parking for motorcycles. The hotel is perfectly situated right in the middle of the town and there are innumerable places to eat.

We were told that should we arrive early we could access our room keys from an electronic lock box outside the hotel. They were not there and we had to wait outside until a member of staff arrived.

Localisation, the bed is comfortable and the stuff is nice, they accept dogs.

The bathroom needs to be renovated, it smells on the corridors of cigarettes a lot, there is a lot of noise outside, so you cannot sleep with an open window, no A/C, so during the summer time it is hot.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Secure motorbike parking available 50m from the hotel. Nice little bar in the hotel. Room was basic but comfortable with everything we needed and private toilet and shower.

Air conditioning could be useful, but we opened the windows and not much noise at night despite being right in the centre of town

A Lovely friendly little hotel with secure parking for the motorcycles and a delicious simple traditional breakfast. Rooms were small but comfortable, situated right in the town centre.

New pillows would be a good idea. Only 1 bed had a duvet. Both beds should be the same.

They looked after me extraordinarily well when I had to go to hospital. My motorcycle was garaged and the hotel location is superb for an evening of entertainment and food.

It's very very centrally located and the hosts offer their personal style of hospitality with dedication. Bed is comfortable and there's a safe way to store bikes 50m away in a garage.

While the breakfast had everything you normally want, it somehow lacked a little bit the emotion. When I or neighboring rooms flushed the toilet, a tiny bit of water was pressed out of the shower drainage - that was weird.

Charming, family-owned hotel, within the pedestrian area in the heart of Barcelonette. The room was smaller than some, but was clean and centrally heated, with a very comfortable bed, an impeccable bathroom, and room for my dog's bed too. Very quiet at night, so slept soundly. The owner was very welcoming, both when we arrived in the evening just as he was closing up the bar on the ground floor and in the morning, when we had a coffee downstairs before leaving.

The room could have been a little larger but everything else was great.

Great location with secure bike parking. It made my day when before I'd even got off my bike, somebody came out & led me to the garage. Excellent!

The staff were very welcoming. There was an unfortunate error with payments and once I made them aware they responded immediately and resolved the issue.The hotel is perfectly situated.

There can be noise from the street, but that is to be expected given the central location of the hotel.

Modern and well placed, very clean. Polite and helpful staff. Easy self check-in.

Very noisy passage so I was woken up each time someone entered the passage, I could hear people talk and open/close doors. The room doors need soundproofing. The bathroom is minuscule.

The location is very good and the room was pretty big and looked good

You can hear all the neighbors from every side. If you’re a light or stressed sleeper, do not book a room here!

The heat was very good, the room had a nice natural light, nice decoration, and big plus they had bed for babies available

We were there 4 days and the room was never cleaned, the trash was never picked up and the bathroom had a strong smell to drain at midnight.On arrival we discovered an empty bottle of wine in one bed.
