La Cremaillere Hôtel-Restaurant

Seaside room. Close to Canadian D-Day center. Good value booking last minute (off-season).

This hotel had an excellent location on the beach. The room was very comfortable. The restaurant had excellent dinner selections. We did not choose to do breakfast. Had a wonderful walk on the beach.

Great sea view which is the same as shown in album, both our room and the restaurant.Spacious room that includes bedroom, small living room and double vanity bathroom. Also it's good to separate the toilet and bathroom.Nice offering in the restaurant too, we're impressed by tasty mussel and oyster for dinner and self-served freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast.

Same as most hotels in France, there's no air condition neither fans in the room. It was cool in the night during our stay when there's no heat wave, slightly open the window is enough for air flow and cooling down.

Across the road from the main hotel, quiet, ample on site parking.

The cleaning staff were knocking on doors starting at 9:00 am to clean, repeatedly told them I am staying two nights and to come back later to clean.

Two blocks Away from the main building, beach and restaurant, a bit strange! No coffee machine?!?

Beautiful facilities, wonderful welcoming staff. I cannot believe how lucky we got booking this place. We stayed in Cabana 2 which was a stand alone house. It was immaculate, modern and comfortable. I wish we had stayed longer.

Nothing to note for improvement. We are remodeling our home in Los Angeles starting soon. I am in love with the soaker tub, the towel warming rack, the faucets/shower controls, the automatic, black out shades, even the light switches. I took lots of pictures and hubby is scouring the internet so I can have the same finishes in my new master bath!

We stayed at the Cottage grounds. Accommodations are spread over a couple of blocks, but an easy 5 min walk to the beach. The location was perfect for us for the price. Parking was not an issue. Room was clean and had a Murphy bed prepared for our son.

Rooms did not have a do not disturb sign. We typically prefer not to have housekeeping come in our room for short stays.

It’s a bit spread out over several houses along sea front. Our room had a terrace facing sea but there was too much growing in front of view.

Garden room complex is remote from main hotel and parking is in short supply.

It said pets allowed, but after booking, the cat is not allowed to get out of the box. This is unacceptable, so we had to change our plans at the last minute to avoid this problem. The website and the adverts should say 'pets not welcome'.

Good location for exploring the Normandy beaches

Garden view rooms are not in the main hotel but further down the street and away from the sea front ....we had a shock when checking out that breakfast was not included..as their was no collection of room numbers when entering....maybe my mistake but something to watch out for ..rooms where clean and a sauna which was free to use !!

The breakfast was a continental breakfast but fresh delicious and lots to choose from. The best thing was the dinner at their restaurant the night before. Perhaps my best meal in France.

The room could have been larger but it was well appointed and the price was right.

We have eaten at the restaurant several times Last night was disappointing The turbot (48) wasn’t cooked thoroughly. I sent it back & when it came back it still wasn’t well cooked My husbands sole was also undercooked The service fell short. We had an expensive bottle of wine & they usually give you better quality glasses , this didn’t happen & I poured the wine myself even though it wasn’t left on the table for us

What an AMAZING find. Last minute booking. Great car parking facilities. On Jeno Beach. AMAZING location, wonderful room over looking the beach. The restaurant was simply wonderful, in my top 10 meals of 2024. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Beautiful property with the main building right on Juno Beach. Fabulous evening meal restaurant. Nice to have access to a sauna during the stay! Very engaged management team that keeps the operation tight!

The breakfast buffet items were superb quality. I’d have preferred a small hot option like a steam tray with scrambled eggs and maybe some bacon, but just a personal preference.
