B&B HOTEL Alba

We booked this hotel because the rooms looked spacious and the price seemed reasonable, about a 5 minute drive from alba city center if you rent a car.However, when we checked in, we immediately noticed the floor was not clean and the overall ambience felt uncomfortable—almost spooky. It just didn’t feel right for us. We ultimately decided not to stay the night and found another place in Alba city center instead

Everything. Nice and helpful staff. Perfect location to the city center. Comfy and clean room. Same as bathroom. Free private parking on spot. Delicious breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice (WOw :) ) Highly recommend!!!!

A surprising motel built on a circle around a garden, with individual parking a stones throw away from the main Alba-Asti road, but no traffic noise. 5 minutes from central Alba. Very friendly staff gave a good restaurant recommendation and allowed us a late checkout. A great buffet breakfast could pass for brunch. The room was comfortable and the bathroom small but adequate.

No bidet in the bathroom, entrance to the room would be hard for people with disabilities.

Hotel changed price during booking process from 70€ to 169€. Was like robbery. Besides the person in reception was saying was impossible to check in after 11 pm. But in booking written until 12.00 am open check in

It is not in the city center, near the road to exit the city (but with car it’s nice)

Breakfasts was good. Mattresses quite comfortable (but one very basic pillow only, not like in the picture!!!)

Though the facility was fairly empty, they probably gave us the worst rooms in the compound.We arrived (19h) and one room was at 14 degree Celsius and the second one at 16.Two words for our staying: Cold and noise!!!

a good hotel, you can buy drinks and snacks at the reception, you can park the car in front of the room and the rooms are well equipped with renovated bathrooms.

The seating in the breakfast room looks very cheap, you could imagine investing in slightly better furniture for the hotel

Breakfast was OK, simply fair of croissants, cold meats, cheese , hard boiled egg, cake and granola. Plenty of fruit and yoghurt. Coffee was great

Bed was uncomfortable and the heating so noisy it was hard to sleep. Mould in bathroom. There was no where to eat in the hotel in the evenings. no details of wifi except in reception.no tea & coffee making facilities in the room.

Location is not too bad

Nice big room, overall services available are great, loved the swimming pool, good breakfast, nice space for kids as well

Facilities are dated, they would need a bit of refurbishment, Aircon system really old and leaking, but all functioning.

Following did not work:air conditioner & fridge in room. Reported to reception but nothing was done to resolve it. Night staff member tried to scam my husband by insisting that he pay the accommodation after we had already done this when we checked in earlier in the afternoon.

The staff were excellent. Would have walked out otherwise. The coffee was fantastic!

Very poor state of repairDirty in places, including room.Paid for a balcony that you had to stand up to see over, it was dirty and covered in weeds.Booked a double bed, got a bed that was like 2 camp beds pushed together and was slanted. I actually fell out of bed for the first time in my life.Turned up in the evening and asked where the restaurant was. Was told it was closed (8pm). Never saw it was open during the stay.Outside furniture was shabbyPlastic ashtrays with burns in themLots of broken tiles around the site.Meant to be a shuttle bus. Wasn't. Cost a fortune in taxis (20 Euro from hotel to Alba centre (1km!!!)Handle on door kept falling off revealing live electrics.Had to fight to get a second key.Fridge door was hanging off.Fridge didn't cool anythingAir Conditioning was rubbishIron was so dirty it ruined a shirtWardrobe was just a carcass (no door) with hangers so high needed to get a chair to use it.I could go on......

advertised restaurant and free shuttle bus to city center which was not true.less critical, but also untrue was that rooms have bathrobes.door to minibar was falling off, safe not working, and also air conditioner did not work with temperatures over 32 degrees

It Is not a 4 Star hotel.. Poor breakfast.

Breakfast was good and the two young staff members were professional and friendly. My cappuccino was expertly made and the cornetto was fine.

Walking across the property to get to my room which was on the 2nd floor. There appeared very little security. The door to enter the floor was unlocked. I think you will wait for a problem before you consider installing more security. Would a woman ever consider staying in this hotel alone??

Room and whole building need some maintenace work. The hotel seems to be a great service in past but actually is quite old.

Beds were horrible. Bathroom/shower very small.There was a constant smell of chlorine.Breakfast very simple and service non existing.

Not much choice for the breakfast, coffe was good though.

THey have a very stupid system for open the doors which is built on a metal cylinder. I could hardly get into my room which was far away from the reception. When we arrived back after a late dinner my friend could not get into his room so he had to share room with me. Early check-out due to flights so the reception guy tried to open the door and carve out the look and after 45 minutes we had to kick in the door. If they change the locks to the doors the hotels rating will be higher.
