Cons -
- It would have been helpful to be assisted in making bookings for any tours considering we don't really speak Spanish and there's so much choice. Instead we were given a single leaflet. Ditto for when I asked for food recommendations I was told by another member of staff, this is a small town, there's nothing. Not really true at all. But the staff were all very kind. The settings on booking.com when making a booking made it seem like it was impossible to check in late at night yet when we arrived, the hotel was wide awake. It stressed me out prior to arrival unnecessarily. Also at time of check out we are rushing to leave and the customers before us were checking in, chatting away forever about Formentara. The receptionist could have hurried them along saying they need to serve the queue forming behind (someone was waiting behind me too) but instead just indulged the first, continuing the conversation. The pool could have been heated, that would have been better of course. VERY loud & inconsiderate, talking guests in the corridor both nights at 2300 or later making it hard to sleep. The rooms are quite bijoux - they appear larger in photos than in reality. Nowhere to hang wet clothes / no view / no balcony and no way of keeping the window shutters open (no hooks). The amenities are good but the lotion when applying It dries very sticky & the dispensers could be higher end looking, Kimberley Clark looks terrible & doesn't suit the otherwise nice decor. Lastly, there was a baby shower held during our stay which meant that both car parks were full thanks to the party attendees. This was quite annoying since we are hotel guests and we had to park out on the street for lack of space, & therefore load our car the next morning with luggage from far. I think it's more fair to make party guests use only 1 car park, not take over & inconvenience the entire hotel.
- Nothing, all good.
- A little worn down. Somewhat hard to find (gps took us close but with no road to get the last part).

Very clean rooms & hotel. Love the character of the ceilings in the building. The decor and general vibe is amazing, eco-chic. Amazing quality restaurant, loved the presentation & dishes. The liquor for sale is unique, different & very tasty. Pau & Rosanna were especially nice to us. The pool looks fab & relaxing, as are the grounds around the events space. Also the Easter decorations were super cute. Great value for money & location.

Very friendly staff in the hotel and the restaurant. They even offered an earlier breakfast, due to a competition I had in Deltebre.
Room was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. Staff were friendly. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were ok. Excellent location for visiting the wetlands and bird watching.Room smelt of bleach when we arrived. In the morning the room smelt of damp. The restaurant was noisy - unfortunately we were there at the same time as a large family group with about 10 kids under the age of 5years!!
Friendly staff. Good self-service breakfast with large range of cereals, bread, cheese, sausage, ham etc. Cooked breakfast also available. Fruit juices. Pastries.Located right in the delta, perfect for exploring the area, birdwatching, photography, cycling.Supermarkets only 5 mins away by car.Plenty of (free) parking at the hotel
Nothing, all good.
Quiet, nice bed good food. Simple standard but absolutely OK.
A little worn down. Somewhat hard to find (gps took us close but with no road to get the last part).
Quiet little hotel with a decent restaurant attached for dinner and breakfast
Coffee maker in the room would have been a nice treat
We really liked the hotel. The room was simple, but clean and quiet, the staff was very friendly, and the food (dinner & breakfast) was amazing.
A delightful, peaceful home from home , an authentic little hotel on the delta amongst the rice fields, with a lovely authentic restaurant serving delicious creative dishes and local wine
Very nice hotel. We had a beautiful clean family suite with comfy beds. The hotel is situated in the middle of rice fields close to a village.I found the surroundings very interesting, but be aware: there are plenty of mosquitos. In the hotel this is no problem: all pre-cautions are taken and the sleeping rooms are secured by mosquito nets.We liked the pool of the hotel.
The breakfast menu was nice, the room was spacious (could have held up to 4 people). The place was clean and had a very nice garden outside.
The constant background music in the lounge (muzak ...)
All the staff are very friendly and approachable and mostly multilingual (Catalan, Spanish and one or two others.
Everything, the whole experience was fantastic. We arrived on Sunday as the restaurant was closing but they accommodated 6 of us for a 3 course meal. The service really was exceptional for our whole stay. 3 nights of bliss.
Nothing, we couldn't fault this hotel.
Very nice quiet country hotel but only 5 mins drive off the motorway. Very nice staff.
We stayed one night which was a Sunday so unfortunately the restaurant (which looked good) was closed and there is not much else around. Bathrooms could do with an update.
The receptionist was very helpful recommending a restaurant for the Sunday evening and arranging a taxi to and from the restaurant. She was excellent!
Deltebre was disappointing.
Great family roomGood priceFriendly staffNice pool and play park for kids
Nice hotel, Ideally suited for our fishing trip to Ebro Delta; very good restaurant
Beautiful surroundings, the place to stay to see birds.Lovely evening meal and great breakfast.
The mattress was very soft, it was ok for me but my partner didn’t sleep very well.
