    Pros +

    • Swimming area
    • Poorly equipped room
    • The beach by the hotel.

    Cons -

    • Very old and run down. Paint was chipping on all the railings. I refused to sleep under the covers or on the pillows. Was told at check-in it’s getting a major remodel at the end of the season.
    • Everything! I did not end up staying at Hotel Sirena .. the hotel is completely outdated especially the rooms. The carpet in my room was coming off, the beds are like cots. The place itself has a lot of potential with the beach access but definitely needs a lot of work! It also a lot further than 15-20 minutes away from old town or any thing local. It more like 30-40 minute. I tried to get a refund for at least one night and the lady at the front desk pretty much told me I should have read the reviews after I told her why I decided to check out.
    • The room had just one power outlet, and the internet was only available in the reception hall. There is almost nothing around the hotel, so if you don't have a car, it is a little uncomfortable (30minutes by walk to the city center).

    The beach by the hotel.

The entire facility. This place isn’t just "outdated"—it’s a cry for help in architectural form. It should probably be condemned before it’s listed as a historic hazard. The building has not been maintained since the 70s, everything is worn out and disgusting.

    Beach

Very old facilities, no electricity for 24h would require massive renovation

The hotel is old & in need of renovation, but the staff was very frendly and helpful and the food was also very good. Down on the beach is a bar. I felt very good there.

Beautiful views, beachfront, reception stuff super helpful and nice. Amazing dinner menu and waiters super friendly

    10KennedyPosted on: 9-13-2024

The food was simple, delicious, and perfect. The hotels private beach was spectacular. The beach bar was perfect. The grounds were spotless. The aircon was super. The scenic views from our balcony were wonderful. The dive club were super. The staff were so friendly. The beds were spotless and comfortable.

The hotel reminded me of the English TV series "Faulty Towers". The hotel has not be updated or painted since it was built in 1969 BUT there are far too many positives and for the price completely outweigh the faults. We highly recommend you rise above the appearance and appreciate the price and private beach on one of the best islands in the world.

The staff, the beach, and the food

    The room needs renovation

    7MiliPosted on: 9-3-2024

The breakfust and the dinner were lovely. Variety of food, fruits, pastries and sweets. The kitchen and room service stuff were so caretaking and helpful. I was very impressed by the quality of service they provided. Huge thanks to everyone especially Angela, who tirelessly made sure we enjoyed our stay.

Electricity contacts. Also vegetarial alternative for the dinner.

This was one of the better 3-star hotels I have stayed in. The room had a great view, and there was a lovely pool and deck area, too. The beach is right on your doorstep and the surrounding area is very pleasant.

You have to use the hotel key card to activate the aircon in the room and they only gave us 1 card per room.

There is not enough sunbeds for all guests. The staff followed instructions from management to take private towels from sunbeds. The management did not have a correct attitude towards the guests and argued with them. The renovation of the hotel was done in an extremely poor quality.

    Place, food, ordinary staff.

Great value for money. Very friendly staff. Excellent beach and crystal clear sea. Rooms little bit old, but clean.

    7DavidPosted on: 8-4-2024

Beautiful view from the restaurant and rooms were reasonably clean

Too far out of town and felt very old

    6AndyPosted on: 7-28-2024

I know I’m echoing what a lot of reviews have said but given the basic state of the building, the staff have done their best to give a cheerful welcome and maximise the quality of the facilities. Proximity to the sea was fantastic and if you have a car, a nice short journey to town. Good breakfast.

This hotel so obviously needs big money spent on renovation as it is very outdated with very old furnishings in some cases. The gap in the top of the room door is just weird!

Beautiful position, one of the best beach locations on Hvar, fantastic staff always there to help of just say a kind word, food is from the other world! They have free tap bear during dinner for christ sake!

Place is completely run down. The word on the street is that petrol dollar bought this hotel and that complete makeover is about to start in September 2024. If that happens, poor people like me are goint to be priced out.
