Good location, clean, comfortable, quiet.

Wow! Phenomenal staff and stay, the hotel manager was fantastic and warm, breakfast in the morning was a delight and the peace you need before you start you day. A wonderful property that I hope to have the pleasure to be able to stay at again. The evening plaza festivities were an added plus.

That I had to leave, no complaints.

The room was fabulous, the location was perfect. Comfortable bed, good shower, very clean and good view across the square.

The breakfast , we were served a half bagel with salmon and an egg. The salmon did not smell good, infact I would say it was not fresh and the egg was the most raw egg I've ever been served. Obviously we did not eat it. So other than this we had a piece of toast, a coffee, juice and a small yoghurt for €10 euro each. Pity because the server was a lovely man. Lots of lovely cafes about for breakfast.

Great location in by town hall and close to parking. Host very friendly and helpful.

We had difficulties to find parking. There is no parking at the hotel, which I can understand, but there were no instructions on how to get to the hotel, which is located in a pedestrian zone or what to do with the car. Coffee machine did not work in the room

The owner was extremely friendly and waited at the hotel until our late check-in time to personally greet us and show us our room! He is very passionate about this home-turned-hotel.

The owner has taken great care renovating the hotel. The room was excellent with a contemporary design and an extremely comfortable bed. The 3rd floor bar and breakfast room is set in a delightful roof top loggia overlooking the main square. He prepared a lovely breakfast himself. The owner has a great love for creating a unique ambience and he took great care to make us feel welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The staff was exceptional in every way. They were available in a moments notice, such exceptional is rare.

The location is second to none. In the heart of a beautiful city, a restored 1700 building done with love and artistic care.

This is a beautiful and wonderful hotel in a historical building that faces a beautiful town square. The design and quality of the renovation and the furnishings was outstanding. We were very comfortable here, and enjoyed meeting the owner at the unique breakfast and bar area. We give Cal Roure our highest recommendation and hope that we can return someday.

Beautiful small boutique hotel in the center of town. Rooms are spacious and nice double sinks. Coffee maker with coffee cups in the room. Huge soft towels and a very comfortable bed. Host is very friendly and explained everything to us. We arrived by bicycle and immediately our host found a spot for these. Even though it’s on a lively square the windows are so well insulated you won’t hear the noise from outside. Would definitely stay here again.

It’s central in the town. Really clean. Really friendly. Room had everything we needed.

We only had one night at this amazing hotel and wish it was longer. Our host was really friendly and welcoming, the room was immaculate and the bed was really comfortable. The top floor bar/restaurant had a fantastic view over the town square and we were lucky enough to be there while a large festival was going on. We highly recommend others to stay here at this beautiful hotel

Great location next to lots of great restaurants, rooms are modern and recently refurbished. The manager was extremely friendly & helpful!

Absolutely amazing, what a beautiful room in a perfect location. We stayed for 2 nights and loved the village and the hospitality and kindness of montxo that met us and gave us lots of useful information and was very much appreciated.

Excellent location in main square. Owner extremely helpful and recommended excellent restaurant in walking distance. Breakfast not available Sunday morning but good cafe under hotel in main square which was perfect. Nice bar area looking over squareLarge room...no noise from square. Excellent shower

Difficult to get to hotel with road closure in evening. Car park very close to hotel...exact details of this in hotel info would be helpful

Location, host, beautiful room

The staff was very humorous and polite and guided me to my room and explained it to me.The room was very new and comfortable. There was a supermarket（SPAR） three minutes' walk away, so there was no inconvenience

Absolutely wonderful hotel with a very passionate owner. Very nice room with original authentic details. Comfortable bed and a quiet spacious room. Simple but tasty breakfast. I enjoyed it a lot!
