Hotel America Igualada

This was an older but clean and somewhat attractive hotel. The room was large, the bed comfortable and the staff was agreeable. The breakfast selection ( which we paid extra for) was sufficient with very reasonable prices. It was nice that it had a bar although it could have been more inviting with soft chairs anmd lighting - more of a breakfast room really. However the hotel provided good value for the money.

The location would have been fine if you were just passing through but we wished we had stayed down in the old town where we would have been close to restaurants and be able to enjoy strolling around the picturesque streets. It was a bit of a walk to get there from this hotel and as we were sharing a car we didn't have the flexibililty to drive down whenever we wanted to.

The age of the rooms compared with the reception and not being able to open a window, but that’s my problem because I was once in a fire.

Very friendly staff, been there already 10 times or more. Easy acces, always parking, nice little bar.Easy hotel for a pit stop !

It is a little bit dated but all is clean !

Wi-Fi does not connect at all, the air conditioner is very noisy, the door closes only with a chain, 1 of the elevators did not work

Easy checkin, spacious parking site, comfortable beds, good shower with super water pressure

Soundproofing is very poor. You can hear everything! Tv, love making, speech, even birds which scratching something near windows.

Old bathroom and old AC. Not able to control temperature, and blowed all over the bed

Our flight was late and we were able to check in after normal hours. Very friendly and accommodating staff, and a good location convenient to the highway.

Reasonable and well positioned. The staff is very polite. The coffee is excellent. The cafe works from 7 till 21,30 o’clock. A big car parking.

I think I booked deluxe double room on the 6th floor & it was large, roomy, very comfortable & spotlessly clean. It was in a great location for me (near work)Automated blinds & windows were greatAmazing shower!Parking was not an issueCafe attached to the hotel was fast & tastyBreakfast also good

The pillows were rock hardEven though my room wasn't near the lift, I could hear the lift late at night & during the early morningTv did not work.NB: Not too much of a problem for me & just as an aside, but should others wonder, not much English was spoken & it was tricky to communication

Poor breakfast and many noises in the heating pipes during all the night.

Everything else, very old rooms back to 60s no aminities in room no power plugs, bad room smell, no real breakfast, reception closes at 10 pm!Room very cold due to old building no isolation!

The location isn't the best but, as it's a small town, everything is pretty close.

The bathtub. A modern shower would have been better.

Water pressure in the shower was GREAT! The room was very large.

The air conditioner didn't work very well and was VERY loud. Our family was separated onto two different floors. The rooms would be more COVID-friendly without the carpet.
