La Residenza Capri

It’s better than the photos. The entire property is beautiful, especially for Capri standards. Location is fantastic. On the main corridor, but tucked in. Adjacent to all the great shops and restaurants and backed up to the Gardens of Augusta. The room was very well appointed and perfect for spreading out and getting ready. The Frette linens! The staff were welcoming and helpful. Nicola greeting us at the port when we arrived was so great and his helping us when we left was so sad, we didn’t want to leave.

Not a thing was wrong!

The location was beautiful, staff were courteous, helpful and polite. Breakfast was very good.

Getting to the hotel required a few minutes of walking (cars could not go any further at some point) which was rather difficult if you had to carry your luggage. The alternative was to pay €18 for each luggage to be delivered to the hotel. Also, the rooms were slightly too small.

Facilities were renovated, so overall good

Shower kept flooding. Have tried asking the receptionist a couple of times to get it solved, but it wasn’t.Service is ok but not great, breakfast also below average for the price range

Breakfast was good. Basic.

Exiting at the port was total chaos. Directions were unclear where to meet staff. Finding a taxi was difficult. Couldn’t find porters anywhere. Rooms are very small. Beds /pillows are not as comfortable as other places. We had mold on our ceiling. Showers are strong( amazing) but drain slowly so it floods the bathroom floor.

Property is beautiful and well managed. Staff are terrific and location is handy. Views are great and room was very comfortable.

Everything! We travel often and we thought this was the nicest hotel we have stayed in yet. Juseppi was amazing at the front desk. He helped us plan a fantastic time at Capri. We were there during Farragusta which is the last day of summer. The hotel had a celebration. We went to it. It was super fun to experience this special holiday. If we ever come back to Capri this place is at the top of the list. The breakfast was amazing. My husband said the Cappuccino was the best he’s ever had. The pool was very nice. We love Capri and this hotel!

Very nice hotel, excellent location, got upgraded to a very nice and spacious room with a great view.

During my stay, I experienced some very disappointing issues. One night the power went out in my room, and I couldn’t reach any staff to help. I ended up having to fall asleep without electricity and only resolved it the next morning, something I have never experienced in 200+ hotel stays worldwide.At checkout, I was also almost overcharged for breakfast, even though it was included in my rate. After pointing this out, the charge was removed, but the staff still tried to bill me for my friend’s breakfast. I explained that my rate was for a couple (even though I was traveling solo), so my guest should have been included. They eventually removed the charge, but it left me feeling like I was being taken advantage of.Overall, this was a mixed experience, not up to the standard I expect at this price point. Next time, I will choose to stay at La Palma instead.

Location

The bathroom wasn’t working specifically the flush. Was being upgraded to a better room but the flush didn’t work :). Was asked to get the room that i’ve book but there was no availability.My first day was wasted on maintenance. Thanks to the staff they did their best but had to spend the rest of the stay with a broken toilet.

Beautiful views, great service, great location. Rooms were spacious, staff was great.

There was a leak that staff quickly fixed

The hotel is situated very well with respect to the center of Capri. Many services, such as the cable car from the port or taxi pickup are relatively close, as are numerous restaurants and bars. There is a pool, which is a nice feature, since getting to a beach club is quit challenging and expensive. The staff can't do enough to serve you. They'll do just about anything to please you.

In comparison to other hotels that I've stayed at, the breakfast was nice, but not as good. Beach clubs are extremely expensive.

La Residenza is pure Capri magic! The location is unbeatable – right in the center but still peaceful. Fabio, Fabrizio, Ignacio and Giuseppe at the front desk were incredibly helpful with recommendations and arrangements. Vincenzo, the food manager, made breakfast and dining a wonderful experience, and Mary, the cleaning lady, kept our room immaculate and welcoming every day.The room was stylish, comfortable, and had a stunning view. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh, local options, and the pool area was the perfect spot to relax after exploring the island. We felt truly cared for and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

The suite is perfect clean and spacious! Everything was perfect. The restaurant is actually amazing. One of the best pizza ever. Great location.

We spent our honeymoon at La Residenza Capri and loved every minute of our stay! It was made perfect by Giuseppe in concierge, who was absolutely wonderful. He handled everything for us, from our transfers, a cooking class, to restaurant and beach club reservations. I reached out to him in advance and upon our arrival he had our full itinerary printed out. He was so accommodating and assisted us with everything we needed, even with a last minute reservation at a fabulous restaurant. We stayed in an executive suite with a sea view, and the room was beautiful, clean, and spacious, with an amazing balcony and view. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet at night. Breakfast was perfect for us, and we also enjoyed the hotel pool and sundeck. We thought the location of the hotel was great as well. We definitely would stay at this hotel again without hesitation. We are so grateful to Giuseppe for making our stay so wonderful!

Just that they did not inform us about how to contact reception and did not give us the password for wifi there wasnt anu manual for these things, also that the breakfast was limited not alot of options

Beautiful location with a fantastic view of the ocean and Faglioni.The included breakfast was exceptional with fresh pasties, cappuccino, fresh eggs, etc.The rooms were extremely spacious. Absolutely beautiful.The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. They made dinner reservations for us, had our luggage taken to the taxi stand and Tony was very gracious when we arrived for checkin.The service was personalized.

We had a fantastic stay in Capri! Super comfortable room with a bed and shower that were absolutely perfect, just what we needed after exploring the island. The location couldn’t be better, close to everything but still peaceful. The staff were kind and very helpful, and the price was great for Capri. Highly recommended!

The room was so beautiful and spacious! You can’t beat the location, being just steps from the main plaza and close to everything. The service was good, with a few hiccups that got all sorted and apologized for in the end. Would be happy to return!

It’s a gorgeous hotel! We loved staying here! The staff was very helpful and attentive! The rooms are beautifully designed, restful and clean!
